I personally don't care for them at all (not a shocker to most of you I'm sure). I especially don't care for them on women.

It is a personal choice for each person as to whether or not to get a tattoo. It is also a personal choice for others to like it or criticize it.

Studies have shown that women with body modifications such as piercings and tattoos are more sexually active, and make more questionable decisions in life.

A small or even medium sized tattoo here or there, in an inconspicuous place that can be covered with clothing isnt' really a problem for me. People who have multiple tatoos that are clearly displayed outside of the clothing, such as the face, neck, hands, legs are just showing me that they make poor decisions in life and don't look into the future for possible consequences.

Ok, bring on the blasting.

I dig em. I prefer the tattoo to say something about the person. Not just a bunch of skulls or whatever.

I have my nickname, Jako, tattooed on my shoulder. I got that when I was 17. I didn't have a car, didn't have a license, I was homeless, and I didn't have any form of identification. I got that tat so that in the event I was found dead in a ditch somewhere, they could ID me. Of course, provided no one ripped off my arm.

I agree about it saying something about the person. I see lots of stars lately on women and I scratch my head wondering what the **** those are about. Getting part of your name on your arm isn't bad at all, probably a good idea the way you explained it.

I personally don't judge anything about the tattoo aside from it's design. If it's something generic then you can tell you're dealing with someone getting one because it's the "in" thing to do. However, I know other people do--and as such I have no sympathy for someone if they get a facial tattoo and wonder why they can't get a job as a receptionist at a fortune 500 company.

I like them a lot esp on women.

I don't have any, have always wanted to get a couple but just never able to narrow it down to something that I know I would love for the rest of my life.

I hate the tribal design tattoos though which seems to be so popular with young males. Not a big fan of the lower back tattoo women get either.

I have always liked this one that is around the internets though. I find it extremely sexy...

My friends has the best tattoo I have ever seen on her right wrist and forearm. It's from a childrens book where the grim reaper is standing behind a line of young children. It's in black and white and it is just the best fucking tattoo I have ever seen. If I can find a pic I will post it.

Yah..I am okay with tattoos and tattoo culture. I support all art forms and I think it's great that people choose to bare a piece of art on them 24/7. And I think socially tattoos have become much more acceptable. Which is a good in my opinion.

Three of my kids have tattoos - one doesn't (that I know of), my wife and I do not. They're all adults so it doesn't bother me in the least. I personnally think most are hideous looking although I've seen a few that were pretty cool. Admitedly I have more tolerence for tattoos on men then women - just my chauvenistic tradition. It seems to me to be a statement of rebeliousness on some level and it's just my personality.

That makes sense. I think I am attracted to women with tattoos because of that rebelious nature it radiates off of them. I like strong hard women who like to take control sometimes and don't take guff. And sometimes you get that woman who just has that perfect tattoo that keeps them feminine but with a grit. All depends on the tattoo though for sure. I like women who are bold and brave..tattoos for some reason hit that mark with me.

I like certain ones, and I dont like chicks with a lot of them that cover the whole arm or anything. Like the chick Jesse James left Sandra Bullock for is nasty to me due to tattoos

All kidding aside, I don't mind as long as the tattoo is not visible. It should be personal!

Uhm, I dont know bout any one else, but that just links to porn. No tats.

I believe the person who has face tattoos or highly visible tats ain't looking for a 9-5 job.

I have 3 tattoos on my arms, and they all have a significant meaning for me, my soon to be ex has tattoos as well. I have no problem witt them and feel they are no big deal. When my son is older, and he wants one, he can get one. I chalk up most attitudes against tattoos to the same puritanical feelings most americans have about sex.

For those thinking of getting one that dont already have one I do have a few reccommendations: #1 if you already have or intend on getting a regular "professional" job be smart about where you get your art done on your body. Most places today still frown at visible tattoos, especially on the neck. #2 It's permanent...well not completely true, but trust me getting it zapped by a lazer hurts alot worse then getting the tat....make sure the piece you are getting done is what you really want. #3 DO NOT GET YOUR WIFE OR GIRLFRIENDS NAME...I dont care how secure you feel you are in your relationship, there is always a chance she might not be the one you really spend the rest of you rlife with. (IRT my soon to be ex statement, no I dont have her name on me).

as for tattoos, I am not a fan. Don't like them. Don't like them on women. And don't like bad ones or meaningless ones. Having said all that my wife has 4. Two of them semi religious, one related to family and one just for herself. The small one in full view not a big deal. One is not seen and two are seen in certain clothing only... None of them make her less attractive or me love her less.

You like that? Do you? Well you shouldn't. That's my side boob.

Seriously, that is some nice art.

And as far as the tribal shit, I always wonder what tribe they are from. The tribe of Abercrombie and Fitch?

I would get and actual Samoan tattoo, as I am Samoan. I would want it the traditional way too. With pig bone fashioned into a comb like rake.

My last serious gf asked me one time "Why do you like me? I have all the things you don't like......fake boobs, tattoos and piercings."

My reply to her "Those are just things, they don't make you the person you are. Sure, if I ordered you out of the catalogue then you wouldn't have them, but you are a person, not an item on a store shelf."

I have since recanted on the fake boobs and actually quite like them now.

People pass out getting that done!!! Craziest tattoo ritual and the most dangerous (besides getting the local heroin addict up the street to give you a "mom" tattoo.

I have no issues when people from a certain culture or tribe get a tribal tattoo done. I can fully support that. I don't understand why white southern frat boys get Asian symbols or tribal arm bands done. Weirds me out. I really shouldn't care one way or another though. It's their body so what the hell do I care for?

People have died getting those. It usually, depending on the size, takes a couple of weeks. It takes place on a beach, so that would be nice.

I want a Chinese symbol. And I want it to translate to Moo Shu Pork. That way, when I get chinese food, those guys can get a good laugh.
