Here's how Mike McCarthy's offenses did every year from 2000 to 2024.

Worse than JJ? JJ is the best owner in the NFL when it comes to wanting to win. The problem is, over a long period of time, he has been a miserable GM. Poles could be worse, I guess, but his body of bad work is nothing compared to JJ‘s.
What in Christ's name is "the best owner in the NFL when it comes to wanting to win", and how did you measure it?

What a ridiculous thought. So is the premise that Mike McCarthy succeeded in the NFL despite having Aaron Rodgers at QB? Take a look at some of Rodgers' performances in postseason losses....but I do give you points for originality.

Good lord….. Jerry wants to win as much as anyone and it was a bit of hyperbole. Quit clutching your pearls. Point is, Jerry is a bad owner who wants to win but can’t get out of his own way. Any coach that goes there will be micro-managed and bullied.

It's been a while, but my memory says most of those playoff losses were on the defense. At least during peak Rodgers. His last 2-3 years in GB he was in decline.

Despite always giving GB sh*t for being playoff choke artists, McCarthy has taken two franchises to the playoffs with not so perfect teams. I’d have no problem with a HC that can take the Bears to the playoffs. Doesn’t mean McCarthy would, but his resume tells us there is a good chance.

IDK, I just heard that fans are urging Caleb Williams to request a trade if that happens though

Kellen Moore was his peak and he fired him.
THis was Moores last play called with the Cowboys, Zeke as the lone OL snapping the ball.

Didn’t he also help Brandon Staley get fired a year later?

Pretty crazy that JJ has an executive record of 319-261 or 55% winning percentage. Ryan Poles is 15-36 or 29.4% winning percentage. With all the shit JJ gets, he is a way better GM than Poles.

I mean, if you look at the numbers, MM consistently had one of the better offenses in the league even with guys like Jeff Blake, Aaron Brooks, and Cooper Rush taking significant numbers of snaps.

I get the thought that he was carried to a certain extent by Aaron Rodgers & Brett Favre, but even with lesser guys taking a significant number of snaps, the offense remained top 10-14 (instead of top 5 with). That would still be an incredible upgrade from where the Bears are currently and where they've been historically.
