I have Sprint too, and as great as they are with everything and have been for ten years, there's a coverage blip right where I work. It sucks.

Verizon is the worst, especially if you have a buncha phones.
Its actually cheaper with more data to be on their month to month plan. I spent 40 min on the phone trying to get someone to explain to me how the **** that works.
On verizon, month to month is 60 bucks, unlimited talk and text, 2 gigs.
Normal share plan is 100 bucks for 1 phone, unlimited talk and text, and 2 gigs. Each additional phone is 40 bucks plus 10 for each additional gig.
So right now cause I have a contract I pay 140 for 2 phones with 2 gigs shared.
On month to month, it would be 120 for 4 gigs.
To me, that says they are raping people so hard, they cant even keep their plans straight.

the month to month is exactly what we were thinking. because t-mobile isn't as great as it purports to be (the other one we were thinking of switching to; I just really want coverage while I'm on the shitter at work -- I can actually DO work at work while shitting, like publish content).
A lot of it also depends on where you live and the coverage there, of course. AT/T and Sprint are pretty shitty for Chicago

I flash phones myself as a hobby. I have a Verizon 3g hotspot with unlimited data for $10/month. I have a Sprint Galaxy Nexus on Verizon's service via Page Plus Cellular (verizon mvno). I pay $29/month for 1200 text, 2000 minutes, 500mb data. I usually don't even use data because of my hotspot.
Im shooting for 15gb on my hotspot this month, Lol.
