The half-assed NHL still hasn't put out an official statement regarding the suspension. So now, Hjalmarsson has publicly said today that he got the suspension for "hitting him too hard" quoting league officials.
Clarity could go a long way here, but when a clown runs the league's supplementary discipline, it's apparently too much to expect.
