Doan will be 36 in Oct but not sure he'd leave Phoenix. Who knows though.

He's the type of player you'd want having Toews back side.

At the same time...can Phoenix keep him?

Ownership issues are huge in Phoenix right now. If it stays the same, can the "NHL" really sign Doan to another contract with a cap hit likely around $4Mil? I know a lot of people were very surprised when the Coyotes traded for, and were able to trade for, Vermette.

Doan may want to finally experience a winning atmosphere...both on the ice, in the organization, in the city, and with the fans.

:lmao:, I saw him saying "If Torres gets 25 games then [Brown] should be out for life", but that Yahoo article had even more lulz. (paraphrase) "The refs weren't just against us this series, but all season long. They tried as hard as they could to stop us form getting to this position." :lmao: Because Phoenix was so screwed over in the Western Conference Quarterfinals

Pick one.

Ummm... I wasn't complaining about the series at all, but you wouldn't be able to comprehend that, would you? I was merely stating that it is pretty odd that Smith would say that the refs tried to stop them from even getting to this round when they were "boosted" into the 2nd round.

which isnt relevant in this thread.

And Joe going "Oh noez they beat the Hawks" isn't either, because that wasn't my point at all.
