You've named a single player in a single season, which went on to have his second worst season in Yrds/R, Yrds, Rec, and TD's in his 7 yr career with the same QB the following season.

Again please name one 2nd yr QB to show he can elevate his middling talent to the levels you are expecting Fields to be able to do.

Oh and that same QB you are fawning over about put up these numbers with Brown in his second year:

vs Fields 2nd season

Better Comp %,passer rating, better QBR,better Y/A,betterTD %, better rushing Y/A.

So minus the passing volume , he has just been a better QB.
Cool. Imagine when they add the Pro Bowl WR and OL he needs.
yes he went onto a bad season when he was 30 and injured.. great counter argument.

I have said that Fields does not improve the players around him and listed all the players that have gotten worse. You have not counter argued anything, Fields does not make the players around him better, and there is a very very very strong argument to be made that he makes them worse.

So you want me to imagine what would happen if we add a pro bowl WR in FA? well seeing how fields makes the WR around him worse I would suspect that WR to miss out on the pro bowl that year.

But in the big picture if we can surround him with enough talent maybe him just being an average passer will be good enough with his running ability.. Although we are going to have a smaller window because I dont see him having a long career if he keeps taking a beating like he does. But time will tell I suppose..

if you perform simple math, as I've stated in multiple IGTs and the like, Fields' yardage divided by number of attempts, it comes out to or very close to 10 yards at a crack. that means if he throws the ball, it's effectively a first down. I think first downs is a more important metric than passing yardage. the only people that care about passing yardage are statistic wonks or fantasy football jackoffs. most quarterbacks around the league have something like 40 attempts throwing the ball. Fields maybe hits 20-25 times on a really heavy passing day. the last few weeks excluded, when teams were expecting them to run, Fields or Montgomery/whoever were still gashing them with the run.

I've observed this guy doesn't respond to me either, another member of the ignore mecha and his vast logic committee.
simple math you say? well lets take a look.. 318 attempts and 2242 yards hmmm maybe we have a different definition of math because im not coming up with a 10 yard average here. Is math racist? is that the problem?

I guess it is.. so if the math shows the Black QB in a good light then not racist.. if the Math shows him in a bad light then thats racist?

Confusing times we live in I say!

Well there are QBs that make everyone around them better, and those that need others to make him look better, so at the very least this year has shown that Fields is not a guy who can make people around him better, so it's good info going into the draft and free agency knowing that as bad as the D is, they still are going to have to put a lot of resources into the offensive side of the ball as well.
I've been waiting all year for Fields to make his whiffing O Linemen look better. And he has done nothing to make his WRs catch the balls thrown literally into their hands. It's clearly him. Good take.

Yeah, it's funny when CCS tough guys run their mouths in overdrive for weeks on end, wishing death, sexually slandering female family members, accusations of pedophilia...etc.

Ask the hero to meet up for a beer and they always puss out - big surprise. I wonder why they suspect they're gonna get beat up? Maybe it's because of their comments?? ?
So....you honestly think people not wanting to have a beer with you is because they fear you beating them up?

Oh, sweetie.

Drops happen to every WR out there, and that doesn't address the point that the WR production is better when fields is not throwing them the ball and Fields holding onto the ball for over 3 seconds is doing nothing to make his OL look better sorry that doesn't make any sense

Now do Kmets TDs with Fields vs everyone else.
Do Mooneys TDs last season with Fields vs the other 2.

But yeah, congrats to the great Andy Dalton for helping them get slightly more yardage in the offense that was suited for him where he got all the reps in his 11th NFL season over the rookie who got zero coaching from the idiot who didn't know how to use him.

Maybe we should put a QB in an even average situation before expecting him to elevate the roster?

Idk why im even posting this. Im talking to the guy who defended Mitch Trubisky for 4 years and credited Jimmy G with the Niners success. Maybe Fields should bleach his skin in the off-season and more around here will give him a chance. A little Sammy Sosa action.

Poor Sammy ?
