One of the local papers(trib or ST) had an article about words that were eliminated from past dictionaries for having little usage or no popularity. This was in 1986, I believe. The word crystallas was there with the meaning, and I only had seen the word defined in a few other places since. But I chose it, because it fit my personality, and have had this name registered nearly everywhere online for about 25 years. Also, because my first name is Chris, so it has a familiar sound to it.
I don't have the original definition, but one of it's meanings is roughly; a positive result from patience that centers around a person's body of work. Not to be confused with Chrysalis, or the NES video game, Crystalis.
