In 1921, AE Staley couldn't pay for the team anymore. So he gave Halas $$ and suggested he move to Chicago.
What few residents actually existed there at the time were too busy plowing with mule teams to notice.

Mine is obviously stolen as well. My friends gave it to me when people would come in to my business and we went behind closed doors to discuss the "family business".
I never listened to Mike North so it wasn't until like a year or two later I knew it was his act, but it stuck.

2-3 years ago my friends and I took "Brudder" from "Brother" (has to do with an inside joke).
We then created nicknames for eachother on top of that. (my friends last name is wegner so we call him BrudderWag for instance).
So since I'm known for my love of the Bears I was dubbed BrudderBear. And since then a lot of people at school call me Bear and BrudderBear.
