yeah, sorry, I call Infinite 3. even thought it's technically not, but is... but isn't.. The story was better than the gameplay for me. And the gameplay was a nice change of pace from the previous ones even though it was rooted in them still.

IMO the gameplay on its own for an FPS is rarely going to blow you away these days.... guns, ammo, powers, shoot, cover, shoot, etc..... but Bioshock Infinite had an awesome story and an atmosphere that put it over the top.... for me the FPS games that always resonate now are the ones with the story/atmosphere you cannot get elsewhere..... the FEAR games..... DOOM 3.... Bioshock games.... I mean I enjoy other FPS games too but to really capture me where it is over the top good it needs that "it" factor with the story and the scenes and the atmosphere.

Indeed... FPS Mechanics are all pretty cookie cutter these days, but I feel they did some innovative things that set them a part a bit. Especially the interation between the guns and the powers as well as the sky hook, which at the time not many other FPS were doing stuff like that. And since it seems like they are all trying to add it. It was nice to have something other than just a double jump to get climbing mechanics. But yeah, the story... gave me some definite oh shit moments. I really wish games you bought on PS3 could be traded in for PS4 versions... even though I don't think there is one for this game.

Really, what do you think changed then? The new Madden they released still had the same problems as previous versions. You also already said that you thought Battlefield 4 was buggy and I already admitted that Dragon Age Inquisition had some bugs as well. All of those games were released after their stock price started to climb.

Like do you honestly think EA has stopped the practices that people were complaining about because that is the first I have heard that claim in this thread?

For starters, they didn't release 3 broken games?

Wtf are you even arguing? Do you know anymore?

We were talking about their business practices like rushing games, having a bunch of DLC, etc. Those practices have not changed. The fact they didn't release 3 broken games is not because they changed business practices. Releasing a broken game is not a business practice. It is an outcome of various business practices.

Releasing unfinished games royally fucks developers in the end. Especially if you **** around and do it multiple times in a row. Such is the plight of Ubisoft with Watchdogs, AC Unity and Far Cry 4. All games which were released fucked up and are still bugged. Their sales have gone down drastically and now they are subject to a class action lawsuit. Gamers aren't very forgiving at all when they get fucked that hard.

I have to really, REALLY want the game. Only one I ever did was The Old Republic. I have a hard time paying full price for new releases, and usually wait for them to come down a bit.

Also, a big fan of FEAR.
