Fair enough. So the difference between my pessimism and your optimism is only about 4 wins then.

That may not seem like a big difference, but it could be the difference between .500 and playoffs in this division.

Only Milwaukee and the Cubs have really gotten better IMO. Cincinnati remained the same. Houston and St. Louis got worse. Pittsburgh got better too, but not enough to make a difference.

Cincinnati got better because they gained a lot of experience last year. They also get Chapman for a full season.

I guess, but I still don't see them with a better record. The difference of difficulty in this year's schedule compared to last's should be enough to keep them at about the same mark... just an opinion.

No, 90 - 82 = 8. I see them with 84. 84 - 82 = 2.
