For now:
Can we offer a pick for Ersan Ilyasova? He will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

For the summer:

In SG our options are:
Ray Allen, Boston Celtics – $10.0 million – Unrestricted
Jamal Crawford, Portland Trail Blazers – $5.0 million – Player Option ($5.2 million)
Nick Young, Washington Wizards – $3.7 million – Unrestricted
O.J. Mayo, Memphis Grizzlies – $5.6 million – Restricted ($7.4 million Qualifying Offer)
Landry Fields, New York Knicks – $0.8 million – Unrestricted*

Out of all the options other than Smith, Ray Allen is definately my favorite.
He is a true leader.
Smart veteran with one of the highest basketball iq's in the game.
He will remain a deadly pure shooter as long as he remains in the league which is exactly what we are missing.
He can somewhat defend.
He remains quick on the floor as well and can handle the ball.
A backcourt of Ray and Derrick would be a nightmare for the opposition.
And is absoluttely perfect for our chemistry and lockeroom.
And he's a champion.

I'M going with Ray Allen. The man is tough as nails and defines what it is to be a winner.

The only issue is that I believe that Boston is in the process of trading him as we speak.
Personallyy I feel PaxGar should at least attempt to make an offer for him.
If we added him right now, I would say he puts us over the top for real.
We can win the dam title this year for sure by adding Allen to our lineup.

If we trade for him, I hope we can dump the remains of Hamiltons brittle body as part of the deal.
If the Celtics are Special person enough to part ways with Allen, then who's to say they wouldn't take Hamilton off are hands. :dunno:

He is my fav too.But shame shit with Rip.He is not young. But i can say we are missing more in the front line than in our shooting right now.I would make a try for Ilyasova trade for a pick.He is one of the best rebounders in the league and he can score from every distance. We need to get stronger there because there is the Heat Achilles' heel

Boston is in the process of rebuilding their team right now.Getting rid of big contracts and acquiring picks or young talented players would be the no1 priority for them to make a move for Howard in the summer. If they know that they don't have any chance in the playoffs they should accept EVERY offer for Ray Allen that clean cap space for them and giving them picks or young talented players.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Ray Allen would be awesome, even at his old age. He doesn't really have any injury issues either.

That said, I don't think we have a shot at him. Landry Fields is an interesting prospect. He's got good length and rebounding abilities for a SG and is a decent 3pt shooter. He's not much of a creator or defender though. I doubt he'd want to leave NY and Jeremy Lin though. I see those two trying to stick together for awhile.

I still wish we could get Afflalo. He's playing really well lately in Denver. He's shown a little bit of creating ability as well from the limited clips I've seen. :dunno:

I reiterate: Tayshaun Prince wasn't about to do ANYTHING to help the Bulls. A pure SF who is not a very good rebounder and lacks mobility on defense. Doesn't have a lot of offense to speak of either. Luol Deng is fine, thank you.

:lmao:

It's so bad that we have to manufacture things to complain about. Deng is playing too much :fist:, rest Rose until the playoffs :fist:, why is Butler not playing :fist:, we need Howard to win it all :fist:

At the beggining of your statement you say that Ray allen is old and it would be the same as Rip....W H A T?????????????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:obama:

For one, Ray Allen has had absolutely no major injury issues in recent years.
So to compare Rip and Ray cause of age is completely assinine.
Ray is one of the best old players I have seen as far as staying in good health and great physical shape.
As a matter of fact ill go as far to say that Ray Allen is in as good of shape as most players in there late 20s.
Yes, Ray could be the answer if its possible.
PERSONALITYWISE, HE WOULD BLEND IN WEEL WITH THE ORGINIZATION.
HE REALLY IS A PAXGAR-THIBBS-ROSE KIND OF GUY.
Did I forget to mention he can still flat out shoot lights out against any defense thrown at him? That's the most important reason alone to get him a Bulls Jersey.
I expect him to be the same player for at least a couple more years. Then he can ride off into the sunset with another Ring or two to add to his one.

No one saiid you have to agree with me.
I don't agree with half your views but you don't see me bitching about it, do you?

Suit yourself and feel that way all you want bro. Much power to you.

Man Ray Allen is a better player. No doubt. But he is old too..You don't know when he will starts geting injuries. He is near his retirement too..Like Rip.Thats the only thing to be afraid of.But when you choose to take the risk with Rip then you should be totally all in for Allen.

Korver is on fire this year. And Brewer is hot too. and he loves being a bull.He dies in the court for the team.I wouldn't give so many pieces for him.But if we can have him in summer or we can trade him at low cost I am all in for him without a question.Maybe a straight trade with Korver?Or give some picks for him?Or Hamilton and picks?

It may sound funny but they want to cut money from their salary cap and rebuilt the team.I don't find it strange if they accept a trade like that. They know they will lose him in the summer. They know that they can't win this championship this year.Imo Korver and a pick would be more than enough.

I don't think Korver and a pick would be enough.
Trust me, other teams can do way better than that.
But who knows, maybe they wouldaccept a Rip-Korver-and picks trade. :troll:

Korver is as hot as Allen this season,6 years younger and 5 million $ cheaper.

5 millions are more than enough to save for a DH12 move in the summer.

With Garnett's contract they can pull a trick and have a Rondo(ideal PG for Howard)-Korver-Pierce-Bass/Oneil-Howard starting lineup that make them a contender in a minute.

Well we will just have to wait and see.
We will know in about a week.

Of course someone else can get Ray Allen if the Bulls don't show any interest. But in cases like that and the deadline near usually the first one to make a reasonable offer gets the player.
