And you would reject the best shooter in NBA history why...?

I fn hate the Celtics and he will always be a Celtic in heart after wiining that championship in 08, it's like when Cutler got hurt some people were asking for Favre F that, but if Ray will help us beat the Big 3 cowards in Miami I'm all in for Allen but I think Boston will want too much for him but who knows since Boston is trying to rebuild.

nah...korver+brew+picks for ray is a good deal for us

You must be kidding man. Will you give Korver+Brew+pickS for a 36 year old player? It's like robing us.As good as Ray Allen is,that's the truth. And why the hell would Celtics do that trade? They won't cut something from their salary cap and they will lose one of the greatest shooters in the league right now.

Korver this year has made pretty much the same 3pt as Ray Allen. With a worse % but still over 0.400

pick/picks whatever

i dont care what anybody says that would be a good deal....yeah ray is old but hes still good

kyle is nothin but a shooter if hes not hittin 3's hes useless (not to mention he was MIA when we played MIA last year)

i like ronnie hes great defensively but is offense is terrible....he started off this season being money with his shot but its fell off since and hes a horrible finisher....hes like a 2k my player with all the blown layups and dunks lol

we are not gonna win with rip being mr glass and ronnie and korver as our only other options at SG....THATS THE TRUTH

so?

ray > kyle

Who says the opposite?

Just because I am not willing to be robbed for a 36 year old player doesn't mean I am saying I don't want Ray Allen.Everything in their price.Korver+pick for Allen would work for both teams.

But if you don't want to help your opponents getting Howard then you wouldn't make that trade.By doing this trade you are sure that DH12 will be in the Celtics this summer and you will have one more contender and a 37 years old SG.

Maybe a straight trade with Korver?Or give some picks for him?Or Hamilton and picks?

Korver is as hot as Allen this season,6 years younger and 5 million $ cheaper.

5 millions are more than enough to save for a DH12 move in the summer.

Korver and a pick for Allen? Does that even work salary-wise? Imo that's a huge steal for us and Boston wouldn't even look at that deal.

And Howard being on the Celtics next year isn't going to help them too much. The big 3 there are on their last legs. They're barely the 8th seed right now. Howard would help them, but they wouldn't vault into the elite again. That defense would be freaking nasty though...Garnett and Howard manning the paint...that's their house for sure.

Howard is the 3rd seed right now in a big 1 team. You mean he can't be a contender with Pierce and Rondo(who can feed him easily) and a decent PF?aka big 2,big 3..Whatever you want.

He really does have the power to send Lebron straight to Hell for what he did for the poor pathetic city of Cleveland.
