How would you get Patrick Kane going?

He's got TWO POINTS in the five games of this series. That's not enough for him.

What would you do about this?

Stick the entire Ducks defense in the box for the entirety of the game. They are all over him like white on rice

Pump him up with 80's hair metal music.

That would do the trick for me.

Now as far as actual suggestions go, you have to wonder if Bickell's late turnover will get him sent to the bench for the next game. I just wonder how that affects the rest of the lineup. You're not breaking up the Vermette line, IMO, so what do you do?

I'm drawing a blank at which LW and C you pair with Kane without affecting the other lines too much.

Not just Kane, but I'm thinking electrodes on the clockweights of every player for the next practice.

He's had quality chances, just not burying them. I think that game 6 would be an opportune time to start doing so.

Teuvo Vermette Kane

Let Sharpie derp around with Bigfoot and Richards.

Well I guess it's not like Sharp is taking advantage of playing with Teuvo...

Idk what I'm talking about

Clone wants Tony Snell on the Kane line. That's how much he knows hockey.

I was thinking that, but I don't know if I want two of the Hawks best playmakers (88 and 86) on the same line together. Split them up and give others a chance to benefit.

Maybe you swap Bickell and Shaw? I don't even know if that'd be any good, but you keep your 3rd line intact and keep Kane and Teuvo separate. Perhaps Shaw's presence in front of the goal could open something for Kane and Bickell can just slam people with the 4th line.

I really have no idea what I'm talking about.

I wouldn't be horribly opposed to Shaw skating with Kane, as Shaw's relentless forecheck could help get the puck onto Kane's stick, and good things happen when Kane has the puck. Hell, bump Shaw to the wing opposite Kane, scratch Bickell, and plug in Carcillo in the 4th line. Don't think he'd be any worse than Bickell.

I'm not a big bitcher about the game 3 lineup situation but I have to say, if they lose and Q never really gave a lot of time to the Toews-Kane with whoever, Sharp/Saad/Bickell on the LW as a lineup, that's kinda questionable. That's been the go to with attempts to boost the lineup in scoring before.

If you keep Bickell in the lineup, why not reunite the line that was so good in prior playoff series?

Bickell-Toews-Kane
Saad-Richards-Hossa
Sharp-Vermette-Teravainen
Desjardins-Kruger-Shaw

For some reason all year Q seemed adverse to playing Richards and Hossa together. Maybe he has the problem every single announcer has had at some point of getting who is who mixed up.
