Haha all for PTBNL.... Oh well. This isn't going to be an "exciting" offseason player personnel wise, IMO. But it it definitely correct for the future. As everyone in the Cubs' front office is from Boston's title teams. In other words Theo is "Getting the Band back together"

Nice. Came sooner than expected. I will write it up for CCS when they speak. That won't be 'till after the World Series.

Ya, I don't see why we are holding off the news until 3 days after it's official though

Because Bud Selig said so. Doesn't mean they can't work though.

I meant that the Cubs already posted a press release, so why aren't we covering that here at CCS?

Because the principal people haven't spoken yet to clarify their roles to the press. As of now you just know that they have jobs, are now in charge of baseball, and Fleita and Wilken report to them.

So, using that logic, we shouldn't have covered Epstein until yesterday...

I think Hoyer and McLeod were pretty much minor compared to Theo. I don't really care how CCS covers it, but whoever decides to write the stories or whatever can do it on their own time  Also, Hoyer/McLeod was apparently a sure thing once Theo became a sure thing so it's not like anyone's missing out on stuff. Life goes on.

I thought the Tribune had a funny post from their site in the Sports Section that talked about how it takes three guys to do the job Hendry did by himself.
