I was actually pretty happy with Timmonen and Vermette last night. I think once Timmonen gets some game conditioning he is going to be a nice rental. Vermette looked better than Richards after 1 game IMO.

Him and Sharp looked to be practicing their eifel tower there for a bit but then the they came back down to earth a bit. Will be interesting to see the new moves they perfect to score big and often.

Happy with the outcome.
Glad to see Toews and Saad crack the 20-goal barrier.
Timmonen and Antionne (Meriwether) Vermette need a it of acclimation, but weren't horrible.
Rosival looked like he actually belonged on the ice for the 1st time in well over a year. The dish to Toews was sweet!
Crawford has some monster saves in spite of letting in 2 (one was definitly unsaveable).
Officer Nordberg had a very good game as well.
Good thing to build off of in the home stretch. Onto Edmonton and looking forward to seeing Dejardins.

Hey, Semin scored a worthless goal. A nice summation of his awful season and bloated contract. Watch the first goal again by Toews. Semin basically gives up backchecking (not that he was ever a decent 2-way player to begin with). He was basically a spectator, along with the rest of the Carolina D and the crowd at the UC.
