Happy with the outcome.
Glad to see Toews and Saad crack the 20-goal barrier.
Timmonen and Antionne (Meriwether) Vermette need a it of acclimation, but weren't horrible.
Rosival looked like he actually belonged on the ice for the 1st time in well over a year. The dish to Toews was sweet!
Crawford has some monster saves in spite of letting in 2 (one was definitly unsaveable).
Officer Nordberg had a very good game as well.

Good thing to build off of in the home stretch. Onto Edmonton and looking forward to seeing Dejardins.

Rosi and Rundblad not looking horrific last night had to be in no smart part to the shuffling of lines and their pairings. It's amazing that they don't look so bad when not paired up with an equally bad d-man.

Off-topic, when does TVR and Oduya come back? As much as I hate on Oduya, the D may actually become solid with Rosi and Runbad out of the lineup.

Exactly. Vermeer 4 of 14 form the circle. Timo, Timo, Timo

...enough said. More of Bowman's F-ups.

Where's Captain S to back me up on this.

Talk about a fuckup! Instead of a Canadian centre, we got a master Dutch painter. Sad times indeed.

His face-off ability isn't even his worst attribute. His brush technique is sloppy at best.

TVR hasn't even played in Rockford yet, they also don't play until late in the week. He'll hopefully start playing then... when and it might be even an if he comes up is a mystery. How well he is going to be doing is a question and if Q will ever give him back a chance to stay in over Rozi/Rundblad is unknown too.

Oduya probably should be back in the games for next week.

Actually, if they were thinking of the big picture, they would impregnate all the opposing players wives. By default, all the lil' rugrats would become Hawks fans, causing a domino effect of eventual worldwide dominance, thus creating the 4th Reich. A THOUSAND YEARS OF HAWKS SUPREMACY! :hitler:

A thousand years, you say?

Wunderbar!

Ok, that made me laugh. Speaking of which and OT, anyone see the documentary Tim's Vermeer where some rich dude that knows Penn Jillete (who produced the documentary), tries to copy Vermeer's style with the technique he thinks he used?

Anyway, Vermette blew in the dots, but many of those losses were to the vicinity of a 'Hawks player who just didn't control it first.

I have it on my Amazon watchlist, but forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder. That painting (The Concert), was stolen over 20 years ago...has not resurfaced...and is valued around $300 million.

Remind me to remind everyone when Penn's latest production "Directors Cut", comes out. My alter ego (the real me), will get my first screen credit.

I think you will dig it. Just amazing the amount of time, money, and energy the guy took to try and re-create how he thought Vermeer made his paintings.

As far as the stolen painting. I know nothing.

I can't wait until the Sox start, and Rodon begins pitching. We already know of his sculpting prowess...
