I don’t think we’re going to have to worry about Jordan Love being great, guys.

Same but it’s more than just him, remember he came from the titans after 1 year as a mediocre OC. They identified him, and then support him from the top down. Plus he had Rodgers while he learned the ropes.
Lafluer was hired for his work with the Redskins, Falcons, and Rams, not for his one irrelevant season with the Titans. Furthermore, he had a top 5 rushing game that season, and his passing game only sucked because his QBs were injured Mariota and Blaine Gabbert. Do research before you talking about things you know nothing about.

Necro this thread and say that again.

Love’s not good, man. Lol

I don't think he's that good either but it's hilarious timing that immediately after this thread gets posted, they run off 18 in a row with Love making plays to get them the win. It's hilarious.

Agreed he’s going to be average. I pointed this out before but the guy panics when pressured.

I’m hoping for 8 wins for the Pack this year. Building hope for a QB is something we are good at doing without getting the player we expected.

Packers are now in that reality.

7 TD passes, 1 INT, 1 rushing TD, and a rating of 105+ isnt that good? Stop being delusional.

I’m not betting on great, my point was they have done everything right to maximize whatever he will be. It’s obvious you’re mad and sad that you jumped the gun on this post, just go drink or something.
Interesting that you changed your post from being clarative to being combative. Why did you do that?

I’m not mad at all. Not sure what gave you that impression. I’m fine with the Packers winning meaningless games. I’d love for them to be just good enough to stay in football hell with a mediocre quarterback.

Did I miss Love having some great game or something? Were we watching the same game? Even in the final scoring drives, he was airmailing balls and not seeing open guys. We’ve seen this game a thousand times—soft coverage letting a team back in the game. But hey, he made it happen and they won. Good for him, honestly.

He’s still not great. He’ll never be great. And today wasn’t some proof against that. Not mad at all, but if you have an issue with that, feel free to necro this thread in the coming months and years to show I’m wrong. That’s fine.

WTf are you talking about? Love has looked great under pressure this season, especially today in the 4th quarter, did you see that 2 point conversion?

Entirely. He is a different version of goff/cousins. Both completely adequate but not enough to really win it all.

No, Love wasnt doing any of that, you just made that up based upon nothing, Love was throwing pinpoint thread the needle passes all 4th quarter, just as he had been doing all season thus far. You are holding Love to a hyper skeptical standard that you dont hold any other QB, because you dont want him to be as good as his numbers clearly indicate.

Love has been one of the best QBs in the league statistically, and has the arm talent of Patrick Mahomes/Aaron Rodgers.

There is no basis to what you are claiming, you are just claiming it because you dont want Love to be great. But his numbers clearly say he has been.

He's also completing 53% of his passes. What is good about that?
That is because his WRs are dropping tons of passes and we are without best WR, starting LT, and LG< leading to throw aways. His rating tells the story, as does his TD to INT ratio.
