So is Trestman's offense more akin to what we saw his first year, or what it was relegated to in his second? Unfortunately we'll probably never know.

As far as I see it Trestman made two major mistakes. Not insisting on a new DC after his first year, and signing off on the Cutler contract.

That and shitty playcalling, not being able to make adjustments, not holding players or coaches accountable, and not having control of his team or locker room. But hey, other than those 5 things he was awesome!

I feel bad for him after watching his press conference today. His mistake was assuming NFL athletes would be professional grown men and not a bunch of spoiled brats with money that he had to discipline all the time. They really pushed him around like a substitute teacher. Unfortunately, that is the nature of a lot of these meat head athletes.
