Yeah, well, we work in this. They told us we have to come in Saturday Night, after already working overnight and getting off Saturday morning, because god forbid Wal-Mart gets their sales display rack a day later.

I can never understand it when someone says they're from the south or west and chooses to live here later on.

I used to work outside all night in the winter because I was a shoveler. One of my favorite jobs I ever had. Got paid well, in cash, worked with all my friends and it was a fun time.

Nothing felt better than taking a hot shower after working for 12 hours. It felt like my body was thawing in the shower.

Every year that passes I hate winter more and more. I understand the term snowbird more clearly now than ever.

Winter is horrible. The only reason I choose to stay here is because my grandma, who is originally from MEXICO, chooses to stay here and I don't trust anyone else to help her out like I do.

Hey...Texas has some of the best ice storms around. Been there for two of them. It's like watching the demolition derby because nobody there knows how to drive on ice. Freaking hilarious.

Watching Texans drive in winter weather is one of my favorite pastimes... I make a point of not going out, flip on the news, and watch the carnage. :lol:

I went to school in Iowa and grew up in Chicago. Been through my share of sub-zero temps. Hit the negative 40's my freshman year.

I think it was last year where Atlanta had a storm and it snowed like two inches. They showed people abandoning their cars on the interstate lmao.
