The NFC North is probably the toughest division in football right now so to win that division is gonna be real tough especially with the Vikings who are a super bowl built team right now and GB who as long as they have that clown Erin will always be tough. He's the biggest reason why i was hoping so hard for more pass rush.

It's clearly you who hasn't been paying attention. I've given credit to Pace where it is due and have criticized him when needed. I see nothing wrong with that. I know it is hard for you to look at a situation objectively but that's what some people do. We aren't all homers.

I see the direction that Pace is taking the team, but doesn't mean I need to be a blowhard and like every move he makes. Also, still don't believe a 5 year rebuild should be a thing in the NFL.

When the owners push a HC on you and you have to take the deal if you want your first GM job you'll have that.

You can't honestly believe that? Pace has came out and said he was the one that picked Fox. Are you calling him a liar?

Funny coming from someone who just gave him a C rating in this draft and has been trashing him since the beginning.

If disagreeing with about 10% of his decisions is trashing him then OK. I will try to follow blindly from here on out. No more of this my own opinion stuff from me. I'm not sucking his dik, that's still your job but I'll fall in line. See ya at the rally.

Didn't he already have the job?

You can honestly claim you did something yourself when you were coerced into it.Without technically being a liar. Omission is not lying.

Yes, that lying POS.

He also liked Cutler yet got rid of him as soon as the contract made it affordable.

I go with what makes the most sense. Nagy seems more like what Pace talked about when first hired. Fox seems more like old school Bears organization.

Pace got his rookie break in getting rid of Emery/Trestman's legacy. Now we'll get to see the real Pace.

Except the part about cutting players and then going out looking for their replacement. That seems to be a real Pace thing I hope he figures out a better way with.

I do think Fox was a Pace hire but I don't have any doubt that ownership played a hand in who he could hire as a HC and that would be something the stupid owners would do. I know there were rumors saying that Bears owners didn't want a rookie HC paired with their rookie GM but there was nothing confirmed that ever came out.

I don’t think you’re being objective. Who do you think comes in has the bears in the Super Bowl last year? It’s easy to complain about moves that didn’t work out and completely ignore all context which is what the constant Pace crybabies do. The guy has done a pretty good job. We are on an upward trajectory.

If he actually did his different choice in HC's may point to him being schizoid.

I believe Fox was forced on him because of Accorsi's recommendation, but I'm pretty sure he already had the job.

I could go along with that. But that could be a short make or break contract (which would really suck when being stuck with a QB) but if you go along with the owners recommendation you buy your time out of the QB.

Assuming Fox was a strong suggestion, as far as a rookie career goes it was a good move. He wasted his Cutler time with a coach he wasn't sold on, got a high pick to get his QB and got his own HC.
One might even think it was the plan of everyone, but I doubt the ownership thinks like that.

1. I like Pace's moves this year; he definitely seems to be getting better.
2. Every GM misses some here and there, and Pace is no exception. It's nice to see him stack up some drafting "wins."
3. He essentially got us our 3rd round pick back with the move to get Anthony Miller. Now some would argue that he unnecessarily gave away our 3rd round pick to begin with, and I've seen both sides of the argument. Regardless, I think barring injury Trubisky is the QB for the next decade, so however we got there, I'm cool with. When the Bears get to the SB before San Francisco, the argument will be settled.
4. Concerned he couldn't get a deal done with Eddie Goldman.

I heard Hub discussing the fact they will approach Goldman's agent during training camp on an extension. They've been working on free agency and the draft.

Ryan Pace is a fucking idiot. He was tied up in the basement of Halas Hall for this draft and Nagy made the picks
Why can't you accept a simple concept of a bright guy learning the ropes of doing a good job after certain period of time? Were you good at flipping fries the first day you got your job? No, but you learned and now you're semi competent...

I’m not following.
