You don't help his case with your fandom after your long love of Trubisky you displayed on here. :homerbush:

I was done with trubisky by this time in his 3rd year and made a thread analyzing it.

Don't get the hate for fields, mostly manufactured by having the #1 pick again. If this was a team picking around #10 we'd have a lot more people wanting to keep him.

I haven't given up on him just because there's so much blame for how average/bad he's been that could possibly go elsewhere but i've lost a lot of my hope for him to be able to figure it out while wearing a Bears uniform.

I think our best move would be to trade him and start fresh with a QB on a rookie contract which would help us to afford to add as much talent as we can around this new rookie QB and i'll 1000% root for his success wherever he goes because i love the person he is and there's a ton of talent in him.

The facts are this, whoever the Bears pick with two first rounders, they need to come in and help the team now. If Fields is the guy going into next year, I would want MHJ first, pass rusher with the assumed 2nd, whether it be the assumed 3Tech we need to go with Billings, or and DE to pair with Sweat. Obviously, if you do go QB, MHJ wherever we pick 2nd, is almost a no go. The Cards have already be stated to not be looking for a QB, and with that their likely to go ahead and get MHJ... Giants I know are too in the mix, but just paying Jones tells me they can't have both, and I do not know a team that would be desperate to trade for him and the contract. Pats somehow **** this up enough, I see them drafting Drake Maye for sure XD

Those are good WRs. You’re not wrong.

I think it goes
cheat code superstar generational — MHJ
S — Malik Nabers

A-F — everybody else. Rome, though very good, is NOT even Nabers. Taking MHJ means a shit tonne of power in the O.
I haven't seen Nabors but thought he was on the shorter DJ size scale. Rome is 6'3"s and 200 lbs. Reminds me of
the dude Smith on the Eagles, Franklin reminds me of Tee Higgins.

I actually like the other guy from UW too (Polk). Not sure where he's projected though..

I agree and they have a 3rd guy as well McMillian I think is his name. I didn't want to clutter with too
many names confuse the average CCS members..

I say, don't overthink it! Go with the best overall talent. All the other guys mentioned, are highlighted in high profile offenses with gunslinger Qbs. Thats not to say they aren't talented, but I prefer to draft they guy who is carrying his offense.

Keon Coleman is #2 for me though. He was the #1 transfer impact this season and FSU would probably have two or three losses at minimum if not for his heroics. He is the type you want on your team on 3rd down and in the endzone.

Another guy thats under the radar right now that I like also is Xavier Legette at South Carolina. Dude looks like a gazelle when he is running. A true specimen. Like DK Metcalf.

Arizona will 100% take a qb. They didn't tear down the roster to tank without a qb in mind. Giants absolutely will take qb if top 2.

Rome at 6'3" 200 reminds you of 6' 170 lb devonta Smith who are very different styles of player? Franklin who is very much a speed wr reminds you of Tee Higgins who is more of a possession type wr? Interesting comps

I’m very curious to see what they do. I still think KM is a talent.

Arizona might be in tank mode for a QB. However, why would they activate Murray because he gives them the best chance to blow up the plan? Just like yesterday….

I dont think they had an option. He would likely file grievances with the union if they weren't bringing him back when healthy. I think they hoped he'd miss the whole or at least most of the season

They’re certainly under no obligation to play him.

I'm pretty sure there'd be repercussions from the league if they refused to play him when healthy to obviously tank. I'm not sure how that would work but the league won't let them openly shit on the "integrity of the league"

I think we all see what a stud is he is but you should not think for a minute there aren't other
great WR's out there. Two that I watch every week are:
Rome Udunze with the Huskies, big strong and fast
Troy Franklin with the Ducks, fast, fast and catches everyhting.
Both are 6'3" to 6'4" and likely 1st,2nd team All Americans

The best aren't always the ones picked first, Justin Jefferson anyone.

There are choices at wide receiver certainly. But Marvin Harrison Jr is the only one in the entire draft at any position who is a true generational talent.

And frankly it just feels like the people mentioning other wide receivers are doing it because they really are begging for the Bears to take one of their favorite football Jesus quarterbacks who are going to end up the next big bust.

I know I'm in the minority, but as I've watched more and more games of each, I think if Malik Nabers' name was Marvin Harrison Jr. he would easily be considered the top WR in college right now.

I see a suddenness/explosiveness and aggressiveness that I don't see as much of in MHJ. MHJ is a very smooth route runner and sure handed, but almost looks robotic compared to Nabers.

It’s a slippery slope if the league can decide what QB a franchise should start.
