Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad thing. There's a reason why women are referred to as our better half. They keeps us focused and grounded in reality. If it wasn't for my girlfriend I'd probably be covered in my own urine, for a whole host of different reasons.

Pretty much.. went to Helzberg yesterday.. I don't think that they had a ring in the store for less than 500.. Most of them were 1k+.
At least I've got a year or so to figure it out but geze..

I got really lucky. I went to K's merchandise when they were going out of business. Got a decent ring (1/3 carat, simple but real diamond) for like $250. 80% off the tag price. Great deal for a college kid who worked part time at Papa Johns.

We are looking at getting her wedding band on Amazon.
Save about half would only be like 500 instead of a grand.
The engagement ring was 2K though.
If you get it in store a lot of places will give you interest free for 12 months. That's what I did.

The whole 3 month salary is a marketing gimmick by a brand. Don't believe the hype.
If a gal is pushing for a ring without her mate being stable, she ought to truly expect a plain ordinary ring if she wants it now. Or, she doesn't give a shit how it looks or how big it is. If this is the case, well shit get her one ASAP because it'll be cheap.

That's the only way Id go over 500 or 600 bucks on a ring is to have no interest..

Ive got about a year before Id make any such purchase.. so at this point she isn't pushing to do this right now.. but we both know a little down the line its what we both want.
