field looks different from the pocket and linemen up your ass than from your TV screen. Every QB in the league has a tape of missed or better reads. We simply lack the ability to go "whew it wasn't pretty and we need to improve but a wins a win". Instead some feel the need to bash the shit outta their own then go why don't players with the choice come here?
Fields said he played like ass, why do some feel the need to come here and try to blow sunshine up our asses for beating a horrible team when there's no chance in hell you're going to win a playoff game against a playoff team w/ your qb playing the way Fields is playing now

We weren't winning a fukin playoff game anyway. No one's blowing anything up your ass that I know off by saying a win you were never supposed to have is a win. There was improvement even if it wasn't from Fields. Your QB took responsibility not pass blame what the fuk you want. Did you see this roster and actually think now here's a SB contender? I'm saying let them improve those that will even be here next year.

Playoffs ? I don't think anyone is expecting playoffs this season.

Respectfully, Fields isn’t being judged on leadership. He is judged on whether he can complete passes

I'm sure you'll agree.....when things aren't going well and passes aren't being completed, ya want mental toughness from your Qb, Ya want the team to continue believing in the Qb. Ya want the team to believe the Qb can persevere and lead everyone through tough times.

Bears have a top 5 O-line and running back tandem to carry this year

Run blocking.....yes Not pass pro. We've seen the pocket consistently collapse on pass plays.

Respectully again, how can a shitty quarterback show leadership?

He needs to be utilize more. And how that they need to allow him to play to the fullest extent and level. Has the potential and talent but needs to be allowed to do that.

you can't grow up in the eighties and still be a kid dude
dude stfu, I expressed an opinion, it doesn't matter if you don't like it, you don't get to censor my opinion or try to regulate what I think, AND i don't care what you think....if you can't live with it go by some midol or maybe get a therapist....this isn't some hive mind where you are the controller of the thoughts and everyone has to think what you think

like poorly at 2-1?
Yes, that’s exactly what I mean. Because things have gone very poorly for him and for the passing game. And he’s not throwing anyone under the bus he’s taking it on himself and that’s what you want to see.

Funny thing is that some of you think the Bears are a playoff team. Haha.

Or hear me out you have a great running game with way better blocking than your passing game. And and you don't want your QB killed before game seven. short passes ok but who is open in under two seconds? I don't give a fuk if some plays he has four seconds. if the DB is in the WR pocket for those four seconds it doesn't mean shit feel me? Some like to post that Stat.
**** the stats.
I'm talking about calling plays to help a young QB get comfortable. It's not hard to scheme high percentage short pass plays even if they are very short gains that lead to not converting 3rd downs.
But as we have seen our coaches are very conservative and have no problem protecting the ball, punting and believing in the players to believe in themselves more than the other team and pull the victory out at the end.
It's probably asking the impossible for an OC with limited talent to pass more when you are setting records in the ground game. Sacrificing the most effective perceived gameplan just to cater to the QB growth could essentially cost games but you could also rationalize that growing the QB over winning games in the short term could lead to more overall wins this year.

The only exception I could see and the more I think about it seems more plausible and is something I haven't heard anyone bring up and explains why Poles did not sacrifice his long term vision to get Fields more help.
We have already seen to an extent how the team handled Jenkins and and looks like a lot of tough love and self accountability.
It's very possible they have no problem with Fields going through trying situations because they want to test/and or mold him. I think it's safe to say Poles is pretty unshakable in his vision for this team and the types of players and resiliency is the most often trait he brought up in the off season.
If Fields is not very resilient then Poles will 100% not want him at the face and leader of this team regardless of how enticing his physical gifts are.
I think it's likely that they are testing/molding Fields. I could get behind that. Could be a huge mistake but I respect the balls, vision and discipline of Poles if this is the case.
