Don't know how he survives this. All it took was a couple of injuries to expose how bereft of talent this lowly paid offensive line is.

At this point I'd hesitate to even call it an NFL oline. These low-level bowl games feature better oline play. It's ridiculous.

Caleb didn't have a good game out there, but man for once I'd like to have see the blitz get picked up. Tonight was one of the lowest TTP we've seen from the bears, and that's with Caleb, who is known to hold the ball.. At one point it was 2.5 seconds. That's ridiculous. Caleb is hitting the top of his dropback with people in his face.

This was a terrible night for Ryan Poles, who bragged about the depth of the oline. Who bragged about the talent on this roster, and how hard it would be for players to make the squad.

I just don't see how they let him continue.

You know the line isn't likely to be substantially better next year because Poles has never invested in it. No great FA and you're not going to see substantial improvement with a couple rookies.

I think the Bears suck next year too even with a good coach. If that's the case why bring back Poles?

Poles aside, everyone knew Seattle was bringing the house on every 3rd and long. The only counter that Brown could design was Caleb backpedaling immediately, vacating the pocket, and making a high risk throw either off his back foot or across his body. The issues go much deeper than just the OL.

For some reason if the Bears do bring Poles back, he will be forced to go all out on the o line. With his job on the line and more than likely a new offensive minded HC, your damn right he will spend big in FA and use top picks for that position group. With that said, I’d rather have a new GM come in and do that

Yea you can see the available Oline now. There isn't going to be anything special. If you ignore the positions every single year this happens

The Bears should fire every coach and FO personnel.. Period

While theyre at it, fire the owners too.

Since 1985, the Bears have been under .500 in the majority of their seasons. Per the 2 game announcers

Commanders did it. They’re line was as bad as this one in ‘23.

I agree there aren’t many names out there that’s worth spending big money on but Poles would be forced to overspend and reach. He can’t afford to sit back and get tier 2-3 guys. Not the year to be going all in. Hoping another GM comes in with a plan.

They also cleaned the house and did it. I would not trust this current FO to completely fix the o line in one offseason. Poles couldn’t do it in 3 seasons and next year they could use 4 new starters

You can fix an online in one off-season. It's been done many times before.

It has been done. Just no one believes Poles can fix it. Similar to the Dline. It’s been neglected as well. He knew he needed a Center, Guard, Edge, and DT. Instead Poles got low tier garbage and wished they will be better. It doesn’t work that way. The trenches is priority number 1.

I got a feeling that I'm not speaking for just myself when I say that I really don't give a flying **** what any player thinks about the GM/COACHING STAFF on a 4 win football team, thats finished well under .500 the last 3 seasons in this regime.

How come when things go well everyone has no problem taking the credit when given yet when things suck, and man they suck, somehow its no ones fault.

I'm sick of hearing people claim that HCs need to handle this younger generation of players differently as if their some kind of stunted outcasts that can't handle dedication and adversity. That's a crock of bullshit. If I was in this younger generation and some fuckin' dope said that to me I want to smack their double chin off them.

These young players are just like any other generation that's grinded their way through DIV 1 college ball and now in the pro level.

These you players will respond just fine to any authoritative HC with a clue and a clear direction to win big.

Whether its the UDFAs on the cut line or the eatablished VETS, this current kush safespace FO environment isn't going to lead any of these players to jackshit.

Youre telling me the guy who has shown that he has no vision whatsoever in building a team and who has not brought in ANY quality starting offensive linemen will be the one to do it? That's the point. It's not him who will fix it in one off season
