Yep, keeping thinking that Briggs is the problem on the defense and the younger players are actually better. That thinking is looking real promising....lol....

Are the Bears going to the playoffs?

If you have a brain you would say no. That being said you have to see what the young linebackers can do right now

A 5th?

I would settle for a 6 pack of expired Bartles & James

Peanut Tillman agrees, and said as much on comcast. Feels nobody can replace him as far as calling the right defense.

Sharpton did an excellent job in the Falcons game from what I read in calling the right defense.

No they are not going anywhere. So we are rebuilding mode. So why don't they just say that instead of that useless conference yesterday?

Is that when he isn't phoning it in from his BBQ place?

He's in his element there...even better at calling the plays

I'd ship Briggs out too, but I doubt we get a 5th for him. 6th at best.

He isnt going to be resigned next year, his heart has not been in it since Phil waived bye bye to his boy Urlacher and his coach Lovie... Briggs has been awesome, we all love him, but time to at least get somethign for a player that is going to move on this off season anyway.

Get him back into the defensive scheme he strives in with Rod and puts him on a contender. Win Win for both.

Cowboys lose OLB Justin Durant for the season

Cowboys OLB Justin Durant tore his right bicep in Monday's Week 8 loss to the Redskins and is out for the year.

It's a major injury to a no-name defense that already lost MLB Sean Lee and just can't afford to lose any talent. Durant was the unit's captain and leading tackler (per the coaches' tape). "He's in the top three or four performers we've had this year on defense," Jerry Jones said. The Cowboys will need fourth-round rookie Anthony Hitchens to step up alongside Rolando McClain and Bruce Carter.

Players have no value in the NFL when it comes to trades. Even a stupid GM like Jerry Jones isn't that stupid.

I would give him to them for nothing.

He has not part in our future.

Greene and Jones need to be tested.

this! briggs is done. no way he gets resigned. i don't even mind he is injury prone but he is coming into camp looking fatter and fatter.

only way the Linebackers are going to do well is to play together in game..not in practice. Greene, bostic and shea/jones rest of the year.

That's four linebackers. Which means time to switch to a 3-4. lol
