The Chiefs didn’t need a QB when they traded up for Mahomes. Even more so then the Bears that year. They had Alex Smith who had a great year. However the Chiefs recognized talent and traded up to get a talented QB, when they had a QB. Lets face it the Bears hire terrible QB & offensive evaluators.

Not a single bears fan including you knew grossman was a bust in 2004. we didint find out until after the 2006 sb. To say otherwise is disingenous. Packers werent even looking for a qb but rodgers dropped to them so they took him. To compare that to pace where he was looking for a qb and had a 66% chance of getting it right is not the same. this is coming from one of the biggest JA critics.

In Pace's defense he hedged his bets by signing Mike Glennon.
