If we could redo the draft is CW still your pick or how would you do it now.

Me yes on CW.
Disclaimer. I would have traded back for more picks and draft a QB later in the first.
I actually hate that i'm saying this because i do believe in Caleb but i'm not passing on the Jaden Daniels that i've seen this year even for a QB like Caleb who i think can be special and has shown he can get the team where it needs to be at the end of games for a game winning field goal or a TD.

I'm taking Daniels.

Edit: Actually i'm trading down to #2 with Wash and getting what i can from them and then taking Daniels or Caleb.

Confucius says:

Use the light switch on the wall so you can find the stairs that lead out of the basement little man.

Good posts. We all see it. Don't worry. That guy is the biggest loser troll on any forum you'll come around.

If you see an @Anytime23 post, just think of him as a twitter bot. He's just here to rile people up for engagement and attention. Sometimes it's fun to play with him, most the time it's just low IQ drivel.

I would take Caleb and hire Kingsbury as OC instead of Waldron.
This but that may have turned out worse overall for next year. Flus was still HC and possibly maintained agained. Kingsbury doesn't get the HC chops he's garnered under Quinn and might be in for other teams HC interviews while we still keep Flus. Hoping the stars align. Obviously dumping Flus after 2023 would have been the thing to do but I'm hoping the stars align and it ends up better this way, even if a year late.

his stats are empty. You're not a serious person.
Guarantee if the Commanders don’t convert the Hail Mary, Santos Fg doesn’t get blocked to sweep the Packers, or any of the other heart breakers flipped, you’d be less critical of his floor and “empty stats.”

Describing 3,500 passing yards, greater than 3:1 td/int ratio in a rookie season with the dysfunction as “shitty floor” is dumb and disingenuous.

I’d take JD. CW has some qualities but his inaccuracy beyond 15 yds is highly concerning.

He was the correct pick at the time. Hindsight suggests else wise.
that "hindsight" is quite the small sample size

you actually think if you could do the draft over again, you wouldnt take CW #1?!

Let me rephrase: Hindsight taken at this moment suggests elsewise.

Dude, Daniels is lighting it up in the playoffs as a rookie. They are winning in the playoffs because of him, not in spite of him. You can't ignore that. He's a stud. PLAYOFF performance is so important.

I’m not ignoring it. Just like everyone was slurping Stroud as the best rookie QB performance ever last year.

Well, this year that was surpassed by Daniels.

I’m just not buying that Daniels is a better QB than CW yet

Now, if in another year…Daniels has a similar sophomore year and CW doesn’t show improvement under BJ, I’ll admit to being wrong

But, I’m not jumping to the other side of the fence over 1 year of performance for CW under the Eberflus/Brown regime. Those guys are bums

I don’t think the bears made the wrong choice at pick #1

Id still take Caleb but Dominick Puni @ 75 would look an awful lot better than whatever the **** Kiran is right now.

So much Williams cope some of you need to be honest it was a shitty rookie year
Do you see Mitch’s 1st year? How about Justin’s? What about Bryce Young or Trevor Lawerence? Williams was leagues ahead of them.

The best rookie QB year in 2020 draft was Mac Jones. Let that sink in.
