If you could restart your life, where would you go?

I was just thinking about where I'd want to live in the future. I can't stand Chicago anymore. I would either pick Rhode Island or Cali. I got family in RI and it's a really nice, small town. Everyone is extremely nice and there's barely any crime. Cali would be cool because it's warm all year round.

Random topic but just curious where you guys would wanna live.

A fan of living in shitholes are you? I can't stand RI or Cal, even visiting is rather painful. I'd have to go with Vienna or Barcelona if I had to pick a place to grow up.

California is a big state, with many different types of places to live. I imagine you are referring to LA...?

RI is far from a shit hole. Maybe Providence. But the rest of it is beautiful.

Perhaps. I'm not a big fan of New England in general; the people tend to be rude, the politics are laughable (not that it's any better around here), weather sucks, etc. Personally, I like northwestern PA -- the Delaware river valley, Susquehanna, and Lehigh Valley. Good fishing, hunting, the terrain is interesting (one of my biggest gripes about the Chicago area is how shitty the geography is around here), and you're only a few hours drive from NYC and Philly.

Cali... San Diego. I keep thinking about moving to Cali actually. It's been more frequent.

I chose Florida. Took my kid to Disney for the holidays in '98.
Going down water slides on Christmas day. It was 89 degrees.
Ten days later, the second worst snow storm in Chicago history.
I worked for a NW suburb and had enough, plow it yourself.

Realistically I wouldn't start over anywhere new because I wouldn't want to live far from my parents and stuff. But if everyone I cared about decided to move anywhere without shitty winters, I'd be all for it lol

I like Washington State. Weather isn't bad (yeah it rains a lot in the winter, still beats snow and ice) but the summers are flat out fantastic and the scenery is beautiful.

If not there Colorado Springs. I really liked it there as well.

My wife and I stayed at the Lake Quinalt Lodge for a month a few years ago..One thing that I noticed about Washington State is how overwhelmed we felt in nature..Everything was so big we felt like ants...lol

If I could start over I would still move to Denver, I would just move here quicker. I wouldn't waste any time in IA or FL. And if not Denver then somewhere in the Northwest

I would love to have been born and grown up in a European culture that has more appreciation for and education about foreign cultures and tradition than America does.

No shit, same here. in my head I'm like, "**** it. pack your things, get in the car and just start driving." hahahah.

First they were just random thoughts... like daydreams. Now I feel like I'm planning it haha.
