If you were the GM. What would you offer for D Watson?

If we got Watson would any of you be good with letting ARob walk, if we can't work out a sign and trade with him, so we at least get the 3rd round comp pick and then bringing in W.Fuller, who should be a few mil cheaper, and go full speed at WR with Fuller and Mooney as our top two outside WR's? I think i would if we finally had a legit franchise QB like Watson, that's as long as Watson is good with that and yes i would run anything we do on offense past him first.
WTF is the point in trading Allen Robinson? You're trying to lure a franchise quarterback here, let's say Watson. He JUST went through this shit with the Texans when they traded away Hopkins. The Texans arguably have better skill position players than the Bears minus Hopkins.

Well the point would be to get a draft pick or two after we give away many of our own draft picks to get Watson and it's not like i'm saying not to replace him cause i said we could bring in a W.Fuller to replace him who obviously already has the chemistry with Watson and brings that speed factor to go with another speed factor on the other side in Mooney.

I'm not saying we should do it and i'm not saying W.Fuller is as good or better than ARob cause he's obviously not. What Fuller is and would help us with is he'd be cheaper, which with us being against the cap would help, also would bring us some draft capital, which we'll be without any 1st rounders and multiple other high draft picks for the next 2-3-4 years and would add more speed which would be great now that we have a QB that can hit on the long ball.

Curious what @WindyCity would be willing to offer?

I wouldn't want to give up any good Bears player; especially Johnson, Mooney or Smith. Pace/Nagy is trying to win now, so besides affording Watson, they're aren't wanting to decrease the power of the team.

And I don't know what position/player the Texans would actually be interested in.

I really have no idea what would be a worthwhile draft trade... but sounds like at least 2 1sts.

We have more than 2 1st for Mack, and had to give him a new contract. Both Watson and Wilson are UC for at least a year or two, and are QBs who will likely push the bears into picking in the 20s for the next several years of they land one.

It's gonna take 3 plus from the bears imo

Right, with Bears picking up a Watson or Wilson, Bears 1st Rd picks are likely to be low picks, 20-32, so probably looking at 3 1sts.

If the Chicago hype continues and Wilson says he would only accept a trade to the Bears, honestly that would be a dream. 2 firsts max. They’ll have to move him for less than market value. But if not I’d offer anything - 3 or 4 firsts, A rob, Chance the Rapper

I don't care if it's Watson or Wilson at this point, to any and all would would not give whatever the Texans whatever they want or the Seahawks is absolutely out of their mind. Is there a limit... kind of, BUT you are in no position to lower the price. If you are the GM, your ass is on the line and you have nothing really to lose here. Hope that you can keep a 3rd this season and do your homework on finding a Starting LT in the draft. Maybe even MLB, because you likely lost Smith to this trade, even if he's not part of it. I can't see the Bears being able to keep this up with the QB, Mack's and Quinn's contracts.

I understand, but that’s not going to sit well with a guy who just fought his way out of a nightmare of roster moves. Mooney is a really good receiver but is not a 1 (yet) and Fuller is not a 1 either. They’re going to tag Arob they would be stupid not to, to trade him would be equally stupid if they do somehow manage to getWatson OR Wilson. UNLESS they go WR with #20.. oh wait.. that’s most likely gone.
