@GrimsonStrong is the Boomer hate in you!
Just found this site, another convert from the Hawks forum
It kinda is...except no language filter. Welcome!Came from the other boards also, hope this is like the other.
I don't get why people feel the need to use explitives and act like that's some sort of GOOD thing to be able to say **** or ****** on a sports forum, like it's some sort of bonus vs. sites that want people to act like respectable adults with some civility and class, but whatever. I just hope these new members aren't going to go crazy with the curse words. Such a low-brow way to post IMO. Typical boomer meatball sports fan mentality if you ask me....It kinda is...except no language filter. Welcome!
Being a newbie, there's one thing I'll say: I've never seen such a fascination with boomers on a message board. And no, I'm not a boomer (why that even would matter, I don't fucking know).
Every word in the English language has a use, and the use shouldn't be barred if it's used appropriately in the right context. If a player is playing like shit, we should be able to say a player is playing like shit. If a goal was fucking beautiful, then we should be able to say the goal was fucking beautiful. If a poster is being a yetifelcher, we should be able to call them a yetifelcher--especially if they felch yetis.I don't get why people feel the need to use explitives and act like that's some sort of GOOD thing to be able to say **** or ****** on a sports forum, like it's some sort of bonus vs. sites that want people to act like respectable adults with some civility and class, but whatever. It's an extension of this new, in thing where someone's generation is reason for conflict--the baby booms hate the millennials and the millennials hate the baby boomers. Being neither I tend to ignore it--it's your typical "divide the groupe up into their little tribes" sort of thing. You run into it a ton in The Bar Forum and the Beliefs and Ideology forum.Being a newbie, there's one thing I'll say: I've never seen such a fascination with boomers on a message board. I'm not a millenial but that doesn't stop me from knowing boomers are literally the worst generation America has ever and will ever produce. I'm not being tribal at all, I'm Gen X and agree with all of the other generations that know Boomers ****ing suck. It's an extension of this new, in thing where someone's generation is reason for conflict--the baby booms hate the millennials and the millennials hate the baby boomers. I agree it shouldn't matter. Hell, you and I haven't seen eye-to-eye on a few things regarding the 'hawks, but you're a fan just like I am. We may disagree on things but I'd share a beer (or your chosen beverage of choice) with you or any other 'hawk fan.
Says the guy who wants to bring the ultimate meatball activity, fighting and goons, back to hockey to market it...I don't get why people feel the need to use explitives and act like that's some sort of GOOD thing to be able to say **** or ****** on a sports forum, like it's some sort of bonus vs. sites that want people to act like respectable adults with some civility and class, but whatever. Um that was just ONE suggestion and I think I have been clear about the actual fights having mma elements to them.Says the guy who wants to bring the ultimate meatball activity, fighting and goons, back to hockey to market it...

Nah. I gave up those seats during summer of 2014 off season when they handed out those 2 huge deals to T & K. Not that they didn’t deserve them, but those deals combined with SB as GM to navigate around them didn’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about the future.
Moved to Las Vegas in 2016 and the Knights have become a solid #2 team for me to root for.
Agreed. They never should have paid Seabrook all of that money.
