Toews was AWFUL this game. Pretty sure he was drunk. Couldn't handle the puck or do anything.
Olesz showed why he hasn't seen the ice and probably why Dale wanted him gone. Zero effort (though to be fair, the whole team was asleep too). GOOD CALL ON THIS GUY CAPT. SERIOUS! Seriously- all Dale wants is guys that play hard. There's no wonder why we're stuck with him.
Hossa had no handle on the puck either. Almost all his shots were blocked and he was getting stood up by pretty much anyone on the Blues.
Crawford looked bad all game. Even in the first, he was uncharacteristically out of position and often caught scrambling. He needs to sit a game, no question.
Penalty kill was laughable til the one they killed in the 3rd... where they actually showed some hustle. Against the worst powerplay in the league.
Power Play was embarrassing. Nothing more to say there. Pathetic.
Frolik sucked on the top line, but again- with Toews in the condition that he was in- it's hard to blame him too much.
Positives: Sharp had a little jump and Hjalmarsson played hard.

Like the idea...could work with Kane continuing to be the 2C. Otherwise, a top 6 LW or natural 2C would be better flexibility-wise.

But I thought all was ok in the top 6 before the season started? I mean we got all grindy and tough this offseason....hows that working out? Did you hear the tidbit during the game about hits? yeah.....the hawks have been outhit in all but 1 game..........so much for the grindy guys huh.
