It's kind of hard to say anything bad about Rose when he's just scored 33 on 15/27, but he didn't really create anything easy for anyone tonight. Excellent game individually, but with a team of guys who can't really create their own shot it's tough to beat good teams without him also running the team well.

You had players like Taj, Bogans and even Noah for parts just forcing screens for Rose, instead of letting him take the double team, and get open.
Usually I'd rip on Rose for not distributing, but the only guys creating were Brewer, Watson and Korver. Everyone else was confused.

I'm not really laying all the blame on him, obviously the PG can't run the team if other players aren't executing, I just felt like we lacked movement and ball movement compared to what we have had. The back to back maybe, I don't know.

i love how very unselfish the utah players are. Watson had a great tonight. i like that he's less of a shoot first pg. We really need a starting shooting guard.

part of it is that deng, scal, taj, and bogans weren't really hitting their shots. Rose passed out to a bunch of players for wide open shots. they just weren't going down. We should have gotten more plays going at the basket.

We really need a starting shooting guard.

I don't think there's any realistic way to do this, and really not that many teams have great SGs anyway. You look at the list of teams in the NBA and probably 2/3 of them feel like their SG position needs fixing for some reason. I think once Boozer gets back and we have another scorer on the court having a defensive SG rotation of Bogans & Brewer will do fine.

A lot went wrong tonight, and I think because we BLEW the lead... it got many of our hopes up. Going into this matchup, following a B2B, who really thought this would be a win-able game? I know we suck right now against teams that have chemistry, but the only hope that I had, came from reading Eva's divorce filing.

Plus, I'm pretty pissed that the refs bought into Manu's all-day acting job. He fell 3 times w/o any contact, and he got foul calls! W T F

The Spurs have a super good FTA differential. You've got an elite team full of name vets on their home court, I didn't expect the calls to go our way.

I thought the game was winnable but didn't expect to win, if you know what I mean. I'm not super upset about the loss, I'm happy with the result of the circus trip so long as we beat the Rockets (done), the Kings and at worst split the Nuggets/Suns games. 3-4 would keep us over .500 at the end of it which gives us a great chance at 50 wins still.

deng and scal were out pf's for a long stretch of time. How good do you want the d to be? on the bright side of things, Asik is playing like a great back up. He doesn't bring you much on offense, but he's play well on the defensive end. I'm alright with that from my back up center.

Asik is a lot better than I expected, seems to be worth the 3 second rounders we spent to get him. Still a foul machine though, I think he'll be a solid player once he works that out. If he ever learns to shoot free throws or gets an offensive move other than the dunk he'd probably be a starter for some teams.

part of it is my extremely low expectations. I was expecting david anderson. instead we have a legit nba player that's not killing us out there.

Yeah, I was expecting that at least he could out perform Chris Richard and anything else was a bonus.
