Boozer looked good and once we have more chemistry together we'll be a great team. Tonight shows that our future is bright!!!

I loved that we let Green take that outside shot all day.

I couldn't agree more with that, Neal. Our bench looks much better with Booz back and healthy. Gibson was playing great D; sure, it may have been against a weak OKC frontcourt, however, finally having a great spark off of the bench in Taj may be what we have needed.

According to the telecasters, we see Cleveland next. They have no on who can contain boozer cept varejow(sp?). Hopefully rose go offs tomorrow night. Mo williams and parker are both pretty bad defenders. besides Varejow they dont really have too much of a presence inside. Rose should be living in the paint. They're pretty weak at sf as well, so we might win that match up.

let's payback cleveland for the playoffs and the 'scottie' chant!
That Scottie chant pissed me off something fierce. Scottie > LeBron

Bulls beat the Thunder, Hawks beat the Magic, and yet the ESPN headline is the Heat beating the 7-13 Bucks.

FUK Cleveland by the way, I also thought the Pippen chants was very disrespectful, it is the context in which they was using it, they was chanting it to be disrespect to LeBron...as if Pippen was a BAD Player...and Pippen was MORE then a Sidekick and that season Jordan Retired, as we all know proved that, if it wasn't for a HORRIBLE CALL we probably would have went back to the Championship even without MJ

I personally NEVER liked Cleveland and I actually ENJOYED watching LeBron DESTROY THEM, that team is going to suck once again for a LONG TIME

Noah was 100% Correct About Cleveland hahaha

anyway...enough about that Lottery Team

back to this game, Rose didn't play well, seems like him and Westbrook was trying to get into 1 on 1 battles too much and they BOTH end up having Bad games with a lot of turnovers

great game from Boozer! great to have somebody that can step up when Rose is struggling...FINALLY

good win against a good team

You all totally missed the point...they were saying Lebron was a sidekick to Wade...that is all that was meant. They don't believe Lebron or Pippen are bad players...believe me.

Don't be naive... they wanted blood from LeBron. They obviously aren't big enough idiots to think that LeBron is a bad player. They were chanting "Scottie Pippen" at him as an insult. They also chanted "sidekick" at him... they didn't need to bring up a player as great as Pippen (6 rings and 8 conference Finals' appearances).

Obviously LeBron James is a more dominant player than Pippen. But he is a clown and lacks the killer instinct that some of the other great players (best player/team leader or not) possess.

I am willing to bet that if James was on the Bulls from 1991-1998 instead of Pippen, they would not have won all 6 of those titles. There are plenty of skills and abilities that Pippen brought to the table which LeBron did not: outstanding defense, more consistent shooting being, and a high/lost-post game being a few.

lol.what's new? :smug2:Espn is Lebron's btch.

anyway congrats for winning vs the Thunders one of the better teams out their. It was a great team win, a lot of guys contributed on both ends of the court. They moved the ball well and they were able to control the boards and tempo. Rose and Noah were having a subpar game but the other players were able to provide much support for the team.

I don't think I'm wrong about Pippen's style-of-play being a better fit to go along with Michael Jordan. Pippen always defending the opposing team's best wing player. LeBron James more often takes the Jordan role and defends the Sefolosha/Bowen/Battier types of players in the league.

Pippen was one of the best high post scorers and passers of all time, and had a low-post game. LeBron James is purely a facing-the-basket scorer. Jordan and Pippen fed off of each other and were able to use their offensive versatility as a weapon. I honestly don't believe that LeBron James is as dimensional as Pippen or Jordan when it comes to offense. He is more athletic but doesn''t have the refined skills of either player in the half-court set.

Could LeBron have won 6 titles as MJ's sidekick? Maybe. Maybe not. But basketball isn't as simple as 'oh... LeBron>Pippen therefore the Bulls would have been better with him in Pippen's place.'

Just because Lebron gets rest on the defensive end, which is what is done with most superstars doesn't mean that he is totally incapable of defending perimeter players. He can guard point guards, shooting guards and small forwards.

Jordan and Pippen LEARNED how to feed off of each other. Lebron is a better player than Scottie Pippen, he is as good from long range, a better free throw shooter can drive to the basket...what can't he do that Pippen can? Lebron overall is a much better player offensively. Again, you sound like a bitter fan who underestimate Lebron's abilities. Do you think such an uproar would have been cause over Pippen this past summer? I don't think so. Scottie wasn't even close to being that good.

I think you need to watch more Lebron games, or watch more of Pippen because what you are saying is erroneous.

Houf, you are putting words in my mouth. All you are doing is completing more of a broad picture of things than you are actually challenging anything that I have said.

LeBron is obviously a more dominant player than Pippen. All I'm saying is that I believe Pippen's style may have been more suited for the 90's Bulls than LeBron, and... that I believe Pippen had a tad more dimension to his offensive and defensive game.

What dimensions to Pippen's game does Lebron not have? Let's go with offense....what dimensions?

Dude, haha, I've typed the same thing over and over and over again...

LeBron James does not have a very good post up game... Pippen did. Pippen was also a great post passer (high and low)... LeBron is not.

Obviously LeBron is the most dominant offensive player of the 2 because of his pure passing, athleticism, and finishing ability. I would never argue otherwise.
