D or wing?
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Blackhawks' blue line will look different -- again.
Tough guy John Scott will return to the Hawks lineup for the first time since Nov. 26 as defensemen Sami Lepisto and Sean O'Donnell are expected to sit out against the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday.
Lepisto had played in the last two games, but coach Joel Quenneville said he wants to keep rotating him, Scott and O'Donnell in as the Hawks' sixth defenseman.
"I thought [Lepisto] had a real good game [against the New York Islanders,]" Quenneville said. "Last game [against the Sharks], it was not as good as that game. I thought he came in and gave us a nice presence back there [before].
"We have three guys who have kind of been in and out of those spots. We get a chance to keep everybody in the game. It's part of the process. I know it's not easy playing limited minutes or limited games and the focus is on you in those types of situations. But it's important we keep them all going as well."
Scott was a healthy scratch the last six games, while O'Donnell sat out the last two with Lepisto in. Lepisto told the Sun-Times before the Hawks left for St. Paul, Minn. that he felt he could have been better against the Sharks.
"It's nice to play, but last game was bit harder. It was a tough first period for the whole team," Lepisto said. "I think I played a pretty bad period in general. I felt awful."
Lepisto has endured more healthy scratches than others. He has only played in 10 of the Hawks' 30 games.
"I'm here to play," said Lepisto, who has a plus-4 rating this season. "I'm not here to eat popcorn. Of course, I want to make the team better. And I know I can."
Andrew Brunette, who played for the Wild for six years (two 3-season stints), leads #Blackhawks w/ points against them (7-9-16)
Big game for Brunette tonight?

I pedicted Minny as a playoff team in that thread that was created. They are in one of the weaker divisions, and with the Canucks slow start who else was going to take off with it
the canucks will win that division still i think
probably, they are still banged up
and schneider seems to be the real deal
yeah, hopefully the dopey morons trade him. but thats coming from a "meatball" so who knows what kind of response i'll get for that
and.......it doesnt end.
Then quit the site for "good" and come back in a month. Maybe it'll be over by then.
you forgot to add how i quit a hockey league because you beat me. New material buddy, please get new material. you say the same thing over and over and over and over again.

My bad.
So one time, this 32 year old quit a video gaming (NHL 11) hockey league because he got beat 6 - 0 and then 6 - 1 in two games against me. He then complained to everyone else in the league about how I scored glitch goals - I somehow made a puck curve, I scored too much from one timers in the slot, and I scored on backhands on breakaways. Clearly all 12 of my goals were glitch goals, and he should have won 1 - 0 in a shootout and 1 - 0 in regulation.
There ya go!
you must be proud. do you have that post saved on a template for everytime you wanna try to "flame" me? whats even better is you remember the score.....thats pretty funny
I have a pretty good memory and those aren't too hard to remember.
Probably how I remembered that one of Bickell's best games last year was against the Flyers when he threw a big hit early, got into a fight, and was a presence the whole game after.
