its hard to tell from the camera angle, but he is throwing flat fast balls. he isnt really changing pitches. confidence in his curve might not be there. but he is just throwing right over the heart of the plate.

I'm sure there is some legitimate points to your side. Catching is a tough position to fill, there are PLENTY of more 1B/OF's. Maybe I'm just sick of AJ, I'm not sure. While I know Castro isn't a legitimate replacement, pitchers (Garcia last year) seem to pitch fine with him in. There are plenty of pitchers that can pitch to any catcher. I will admit it could be my displeasure with AJ, though.

I will admit that when we got him, with his high draft status and potential, I was on the bandwagon because I thought Coop could do his magic again. But this guy is just too inconsistent for my liking.
