That could have MLS implications too, St. Louis getting friendlies will continue to force the league's hand if an owner steps forward. Best untapped soccer market left IMO.

Yeah STL has also been getting some big international friendlies too. I remember my friend going to an Inter Milan vs. Real Madrid game a couple of days ago. And I think they had another friendly like that a year before. Idk if they do this for other US cities though.

They sold out - I believe it was Man City and Chelsea at Busch stadium - in less than half an hour IIRC.

Yeah that's the one! That's pretty impressive actually lol. St. Louis is actually a pretty underrated sports town (even if I hate their baseball team), it's just they don't have that many teams. Now if only an owner or group would step up...

Blues and Rams aren't the most stable franchises either. STL is a market where an MLS team may be more popular than the NHL team if it is given enough time.

I forgot about the Rams! Probably because no one I know down there is a fan of them lol. All they would have to do is win and STL would be all over them like the Cards. But that goes for any city lol.

May not even have to, can't alienate fans like TFC but its just a great soccer market in general. Relocate Rams to LA and Jaguars to London (just because) and we're set.

True that! Haha it would be cool to have a team in London just because.

And if it ever tapped into London's sports scene, it could draw some fans away from the 6 London teams and help make EPL less lucrative while MLS continues growing... haha jk that's pushing it big time.

Could you imagine the British abandoning the EPL and rooting for the MLS... That'll be the day lol.
