Perhaps, perhaps not. While every team doesn't have the Splash Bros, the league is moving more towards that 3pt line. The Spurs also shoot and make a bunch of 3s and they don't have anyone near the caliber of Steph or Klay (though Leonard is shooting a ridiculous percentage right now). And that's not all done by throwing it into Tim Duncan and having him kick it out to shooters. In fact, Duncan is not even averaging 10 points per game right now I believe. Pretty much, the game has evolved past that old school pound it inside and go from there approach. Now whether or not this team is equipped to go with that flow is another question entirely.

I guess im just an old fuddy duddy...get off my lawn! its not that im against shooting the 3, its just I feel it needs to be within the flow and rhythm of the offense

Haha not to take shots, but perhaps watching the Grizz so much has that ingrained in your system. And I do agree that the 3s need to be within the flow of the offense...and that offenses nowadays are making that flow a lot more frequent.

haha perhaps. I think thibs needs to come take over the grizz personally. and yes, offenses are looking to get guys open for 3's more today...but those are still at least open looks. I just hate contested 3's or when we shoot a 3 too quickly. its funny how easily you can kind of "feel" when its a good shot and know its going in before it actually does and visa versa with bad shots knowing they aren't going in before they miss

Totally agree. And that's basically what I was getting at with Mirotic and shot selection. He was taking a lot of those bad 3s vs 3s in the flow of the offense. Thibs on the Grizz would be scary lol. But then he'd play Tony Allen 40 minutes per game.

well hell yeah he would! bulls and grizz to me are pretty similarly constructed over the last 5 years or so. the addidtions of doug and niko last year gave the bulls more 3 point shooting than the grizz but that hard nosed, defensive style is there. seems like a good fit for thibs and for Memphis as a last chance to try and win with the roster they currently have
