The Bulls have always been good for a few regular season wins against elite competition. Unfortunately, when the playoffs roll around, it's a whole different ballgame. Good win though. Hopefully we can build off this.

What a great game by Butler! He really showed up!

Since there was no mavs igt, I thought I'd just post in here. Great game from Rose. I know I'm beating a dead horse but fucking Zaza Pachulia looked like an all star. Obviously that's not the main reason we lost but I swear every game we play at least one big plays like an all pro against us.

those offensive rebounds and failure on the inbounds play did us in

Derrick played great though i hope his play continues because its no doubt we are a much better team when hes even playing like half of what he used to be

win 1 and lose the next 3, I'll take that approach

Portis looked good out there, besides that inbound play he just got hosed by the refs

The one who cost us this game has again been Gasol!

Getting outhustled by Zaza and again not showing up on the pick and roll.

This guy defensively is worse than Boozer and Harden combined.

This is showing leadership. He's actually done this countless times since he's been a Bull, but some people conveniently forget because of their agendas.

I remember he caught hell last season for getting mad at us losing and responding with cuss words during an interview. If I remember, we immediately went on a winning streak after that interview.

Pretty much this. It's great if you play fan duel though, just take whatever big man is matched up on Gasol cause you're going to get points.

Did it upset him enough to finally stop the jump passes? I remember an interview where he said every coach he's had since grade school has been on him to stop with the jump passes yet he keeps on doing it.

its pretty clear how much they miss this guy. its like night and day out there rebounding and defensively when he is out there. for all those that want to trade him, just keep in mind games like this where we get owned in the paint by scrubs like zaza

That's why I don't want Noah gone. Not only was he not healthy last year, we forced him to change how he played because we signed a guy that refuses to move away from the basket on defense. Noah was playing very well to up until that shoulder injury too. Id rather Gasol come off the bench.

I love Noah. He, Gibson, and Butler bust their asses in every game. They are guys who do not look pretty. They are not flashy. But they show up every damn game. I would also throw a guy who doesn't get much love on this team and that is Brooks. Frankly the Bulls offense executes much better when he is in the back court becuae this guy is explsovie to the hole and is a good 3 point shooter. I would really like to see Brooks teamed with Butler and Mirotic.

Mirotic is being misused in my book. They have him way too much on the top of the key away from where his talent could be utilized better. This is on Hoiberg. When you have a 6'10 guy with his skills then post him up opposite whoever is play either SF or PF and let him use his skills to get to the foul line or score or dish.

I don't think he's blaming it fully on Pau...he had a good offensive game. He probably said it out of frustration because Pau gets dumped on by any big man that plays against him

haha well where were you at the beginning of the season when I was basically the only one saying that noah wasn't "done." all these other supposed bulls fans claimed noah was done and had nothing left. how quickly those chirps went away :)

the thing is, last year noah was certainly hurt, and that made playing noah and gasol together tough since like you said gasol just hangs in the paint area and it forced noah to have to try and get out on shooters and his knee just wouldn't allow it efficiently. this year, I wish hoiberg would play some noah and gasol together since noahs leg is much healthier now. they had a very good record playing together last year as it was. maybe when noah comes back from the shoulder injury hoiberg will give it a try

Sorry for no Mavs IGT...real life or whatever got in the way.

Regarding Zaza, just thought I'd point out that he's been quietly averaging a double double all year and has been cleaning the glass like he was Drummond or Deandre.

I thought Noah was done and I'm definitely a Bulls fan and not a "supposed" Bulls fan. He looked washed up last season, is a big man that relies on hustle and athleticism, and there were rumors that the injury was worse than reported and his knees were bone on bone. I don't fault people for thinking he was done but I, as well as lots of other people, were very wrong. Noah has looked great this year.

the only report I know of about noahs knee being bone on bone came from Cowley who is a moron and seems to love to report anything negative about the bulls. have to take into consideration where the info is coming from. even last year noah was more productive than the average NBA center in the league. the major dropoff was his shooting, and everyone took that to mean the end for him even though shooting was never why he made it into the league in the first place.

big props to you though for being man enough to admit to being wrong about him :snoop:
