Kerr took Thibs record of most wins first year coaching

time to fire Thibs and hire Hoiberg so he can claim that record

:derbulls:
lol, Thibs was tied with Paul Westphal (1992-93 Phoenix Suns, lost to MJ) for that record anyways.

Butler was trash this game. Never attacked the rim the entire game. Very unlike him.
Yep, I kept thinking "where is Buckets? Where is buckets?" I never really noticed him until the 4th quarter when he tried to put the team on his back, but his shot was just off. And like you said, he never did attack the rim.

Um.. Its hard to contain LeBron. You just try to manage it.

Exactly, I've always felt like the best way to play against a Lebron team in my opinion is to take away all of his weapons and make him put the team on his back so it takes a toll on him

Yeah, there isn't a whole lot you could do. You treat all the best players that way. Teams attempted to shut down Jordan all the time, to no avail obviously. I remember Doc Rivers always made a point in those two Lakers-Celtics series that Kobe is going to get his, shut down everyone else. That's been proven to be able to beat these guys.

The Cavs though have another guy who can usually get his in Irving, though Irving usually seems to struggle against Rose for some reason.

TO me, this was a throwaway game. Everything in the world breakwise went the Cavs way. What we did learn today, though, is that Butler cannot guard Lebron strait up. Lebron is just too damn big. They have to throw more at him when it counts. Their back-court completely over-matched the Bulls backcourt. Hopefully, if and when Rose comes back, this can change a good amount.

The more I think about it, I'm not even sure the Bulls were trying this game.
