Where are all the Dbag CCS experts? Did any of you realize the Bulls have won 6 games in a row, and have the 4th best record in the NBA? Just saying!

Oh, and Rose played pretty fuckin good in case you didn't notice, yeah you, the idiots that want to throw him to the curbside.

And the Bulls are not even at full strength, without Noah, who will be traded for his expiring contract, and Dunn, who will fit Fred's new offense very well!

I can't help but laugh at the people that post 1000's of negative posts to only be wrong, and a spineless Jellyfish!!!

The problem is two fold.

1) People used to wrongly believe they had a chance at a ring, and now the truth has set in that they don't. Even after this nice little run, I don't think anyone who knows anything is believes they have a chance in a 7 game series against the NBAs elite teams. Some people would rather sell a year to soon. I psaid before I think they should have made a move for someone like Batum and let Thibs coach one more year.

2) This team is 4 games from being out of the playoffs. The East is much tighter, and while the Bulls have a lot of talent they also have some serious injury risks. Rose, Butler has missed ~15 games each season has been a starter. How many games does this team win if both of them go down for 2 weeks at the same time. While you can say all teams deal with injuries the Bulls have a lot of high injury candidates. Not just Rose either. Gasol, Noah, Dunleavy may not even play for months. Hinrich is older and Gibson is coming off surgery.

The Bulls have been pretty healthy considering their players history. Now at the end of the season we will have a better idea of how much of the health issues were actually related to Thibs. If they stay healthy for the most part this year and next then I think we can say Thibs probably did more harm than good. At this point though I have a hard time believing that the team won't have to go through a stretch without Butler or Rose for a few weeks if not both of them. That could be very bad for this team.

On a side note. It is pretty d-bagish to disappear and then come around and call people out for not posting. Hell if this game is you I told you so game you are kind of sick in the head. This was a ugly bad game where both teams played like crap. There is no way the Bulls beat a good team playing like they did tonight.

If he got the foul calls that Steph and CP3 get, a lot of his bad games this season would actually be good games.

Think about that.
Rose's has never really gotten calls in his career.

He's very good at changing directions, instead of maybe absorbing the contact. Which is why he maybe doesn't get the calls he probably should.

I actually enjoyed seeing him get the tech yesterday. He should do that a couple more times to prove a point.

And because of that, whomever is hot and healthy in March/April is getting a top seed in the East. Unless injuries occur to Cleveland, I don't see them giving up the #1 seed.

The Bulls seem to climb to #2 every few weeks then lose a bunch of a row and fall to 6th before climbing again.. That's been the nature of this season thus far. The best they can hope for is to stay relatively healthy and then be playing hard in March and finish up April nicely to secure the #2 seed.

Maybe he has the Iverson effect? Refs hated calling fouls for Iverson and he was probably fouled on every play when he took it to the hoop. Shaq was also fouled on almost every play but he was so big they ignored a lot of those calls as well.

I don't think refs hate Rose...or at least not like they hated Iverson. However, as demonstrated last night, he can get knocked to the floor with no foul, so perhaps there is something there. It's been a common trend since his rookie year.

No he hasn't and he looked really pissed in this game that he didn't get them.

Speaking of refs, I cant believe no one has brought up Joey Crawford retiring. His hatred for Duncan is awesome.

I thought it was mentioned in the around the league thread? Good riddance...Crawford has annoyed me for years.

with disgust of the lack of loyalty for todays fans.!

what constitutes loyalty? being blindly optimistic?

ive been here since October 2011 and ive been through 2 season ending knee injuries from Rose. i could have jumped ship long ago but yet ive remained one of the most active members of the Bulls section.

this team up until recently didn't deserve any support. they played like they didn't give a damn. i'm glad they seem to have got a swift kick in the the ass and have started playing better.

I thought it was one of the better offensive games of the season in terms of flow, and pressing the issue with the opposing D. Butler is beginning to garner a lot of respect both in his ability to attack the rim, and his off the ball game. It really helps to clear out Derrick's path to the rim, when a wing has to stick to with Butler a step to long, and is out of position to come over and help, when Derrick explodes to the rim.

It was good to see Derrick attacking. It looks like he is not as tentative regarding the injuries as he has been in recent years.

It was also good to see Jimmy stay aggressive, even though his shot was not falling, and a) make the adjustment to the defensive pressure that Boston was throwing at him all night long in the second half. And b) continue to collapse the interior of Boston's D, to create excellent, wide open looks on high percentage shots for his team mates.

Yep. Also was he not punished for bad behavior after that other ref was caught fixing games back about ten or so years ago?

It really was a sloppy game. Turnover followed by another turnover. I did like the Bulls energy all around. Rose had one of his better all around games of the year. Mirotic is developing into a very solid rebounder and defender at the small forward position. Gibson was a warrior in this game and Gasol dominated much of the time. Butler showed his over-all game very well.

The team still has warts but the effort is good. The good news is that when Noah comes back, this could result in a good trade for the Bulls since the individuals on the present team are showing their skills pretty well and the demand for their talent should find a few takers:)

Good test tomorrow at the Hawks. Should be another over 100 game but they will be right with us. If we can win that game some of you doubters need to take a deep breathe and assess some things as far as what we might be capable of. We have blown some leads and close games but we aren't often blown out.

I couldn't ask for much more than we have been given so far, and as a team we are in an upward trajectory. I am seeing some positive signs in team comradery as these guys are starting to enjoy playing together. Perhaps Hoibergs strength is creating a family, and Rose, Gasol, Rose all seem outwardly very happy right now. That isn't an easy feat. I think that Noah and Dunleavy are still the players that don't make sense on this roster in this system.

The fact that Noah is down and we have the highest scoring since 1995, is no coincidence.

I am a Thibs fan, who was ready to move on. It's fucking nice not to have to keep the opponent under 75 to win.

This is a good example of a young generation answer, imo. Thank you for gracing us with your presence on the MB...LOL. Does that make you a loyal fan? I don't think so. But hey, I come from a different generation than you.

You really think that being on a MB, with a bunch of negative people, who constantly make sarcastic remarks, and hide behind "being a realist" is being loyal? I feel sorry for you if you do.

Your post exudes the millennial "the world owes me" attitude, imo. The Bulls owe you for what? Cuz you bought a hat, a t shirt, god forbid you paid for a ticket to a game. I could explain all night why your comment shows no loyalty, but you just wouldn't understand.

Carry on, I don't care what you guys think....
