My nlca rotation

Quintana (12 pitches today otherwise normal rest)
Lester (3 days rest after 60+ pitch relief outing?) But lackey/arrieta ready in pen
Hendricks (full rest)
Arrieta (extended rest)
Quintana (full rest)
Lester (full rest)
Hendricks (full rest)

I'd probably consider adding a bullpen arm (rondon) and remove a position player (happ or lastella) as we seem to be thin out there.....or remove someone who maddon won't use (Wilson or Lackey)

How did the Dodgers end up fairing vs. left handed pitching? I know they were killing lefties in the first half of the season.

I like having Lester and Hendricks on full rest for game 6/7.

LA is going to be rough tho. 4.5 hr game on east to fly out west and play a day later. That never bodes well.

Joe Maddon has a lucky horse shoe up his ass for clinch games.

Wow, I'm still pumped over last night's game. Should not have watched SC this morning, with their review of that crazy game... just crazy.

for all intensive purposes as this rotation sits now, I would not doubt Joe using Lackey in game 1. If not, he should not be on the roster. He will still be there with the team but if Joe could not find a way to use him up 2-1 in the series against washington when will he use him?

You are out of your mind... . He basically ruined 2 phenoms.... Wood and Pryor..

Pitching them 120 pitches pluss.... multiple outings.

Anyone that believes Baker ruined them is just looking to avoid the truth

Remove a position player? Not going to happen. I could see Rondon replacing another relief pitcher possibly.

Game 1 starter is a tough decision. I'd predict it's Lackey and I have no strong feeling one way or the other if that's the right thing to do.

I'd go with Lackey as well and give the rest of the starters an extra days rest. Got tough matchup vs Kershaw in game #1 and see if the Cubs can steal a game with old well rested ornery veteran Lackey on the mound. The rest of the pitching matchups are in favor of the Cubs by starting Lackey game 1.

I agree. I think the one easy decision they have right now is Lackey in Game 1.

I figure they already made that decision the minute Q got up in the pen.

That I am less sure upon. Wood had a delivery that many commented upon was destined to ruin his arm. Prior seems to be something mental.

Prior wasn't mental. He messed up hi shoulder on the basepaths.

True. But Joe won't let him sit out NLCS.
Maddon isn't insane. He needs a pitcher he can trust. After that series, he doesn't have it. He's like Wilson, but he isn't a LHP, so he's replaceable with Rondon. Rondon has more experience. Strop will get more of the calls Edwards was getting.
