Yeah imagine Bears players caping for a Philly player just because they wanted to draft the dude. He clearly should have been charged and was given a pass because of who he was.
As you said, you are well within your rights to consider what he did vehicular homicide, and I certainly don’t disagree that there were some deals behind closed doors regarding civil damages.

You are incorrect, however, concerning the viability of vehicular homicide charges sticking in this particular case. And that’s pertaining to either 1st or 2nd degree. I used to be both a criminal prosecutor and defense attorney here in GA. The issue in this case was the driver of the other vehicle was DUI. She died, and the other passenger who died was in her car. Now, if the decedents had been in the car Carter was driving, that’s a different story.

Either way, it’s a tragedy all the way around.

Bills have been my 2nd favorite team since I was 5. I got their helmet in a bubble machine and wore it then they lost the Super Bowl and I was laughed at but I stayed with them.

Rise fun fact.
They better get their shit together fast

Despite the 60 yard touchdown run to start the game Saquon Barkley came up short in the over on his rushing yards today.

As usual the board reacted to one play to make an entire judgment and they were wrong and I was right yet again.

Fantastic performance from the Eagles today but who lost money on that bet?
Please cite all the other times the board reacted to one play as you claim (inaccurately) that it did today. Be specific.

And like dumbass you are, you cite my comment about one play as an example of your statement "As usual the board reacted to one play to make an entire judgment..."

What was I making an entire judgement about by commenting on one play? What did I extrapolate?

God, you're an ass.

@DanielCCSBears bur credit is where it’s due. You did call that he wouldn’t go over.
It's not even me making a call to be right or wrong.

There was a segment about it on 670 where they talked about it at length and how hard it was going to be and how much money was coming in on it.

There are so many variables to it and like clockwork the under came in and a lot of money was lost. It's just comical to me how people are emotional bettors.

Of course you're well within your rights, this is a message board.

But that has nothing to do with reality, where he wasn't even charged and, unlike with OJ, where he never went to trial and no evidence was ever made public. So of course you can believe whatever you want but you can't actually demonstrate what you believe.
The facts of that night are pretty well known. He was involved in a street race where 2 people died. That by definition is vehicular homicide.

The fact GA let him get away with it doesnt change what happened.

And again however you want to describe it, Stevenson is not alleged to have done anything comparable which is the point. People trying to smear him just because they wanted Carter is BS.

I can’t even place bets here in Georgia. Even with a VPN, DK won’t let me. I guess I could try somewhere else.

I already posted examples of drivers in the other car being charged.

Who claimed it was definitely going over?
Who argued with you?
Who bet the over and lost?

You're looking for arguments and making shit up.

Most people just ignored you as it is the wise thing to do. I should learn something from those that do.

Even if I have a soft spot for the Bills my hate for Dan orlovsky had me pulling for the eagles harder. I’m bored watching this.

It's not vehicular homicide actually, as the Georgia lawyer just stated.

Being 'involved' lol, is that the legal term?

I know about Stevenson, for the third time.

Oh, I’m not saying he couldn’t be charged. You can get almost any charge through a grand jury nowadays. I’m talking about its viability in this particular fact-pattern.

If Devin Willock had been with Carter, and Carter crashes and he dies, for sure, that’s VH all day. And if no one had died in the car Chandler was driving, it’s probably charged as reckless driving.

Add in the fact that she was DUI and Carter wasn’t. And yes, I realize reckless can be a predicate for VH. Each case has a different set of facts. This was a weak VH case.

I guess you didn’t see the Giants off-season Hard Knocks. Schoen literally said the Bears were setting the market for Barkley. Barkley picked the Eagles.
