torres is a fine hockey player. an above average meathead who has -as you guys said- played well in this series.

but lets not get weird. consider torres being out like shaw sitting. knocking hossa out would be like taking doan out. its a large hole.

Its a large hole when you think of the team on paper, but again...torres has been reallu good this series.

Im not saying loss of torres= loss of hossa, but it will still hurt them pretty good.

Maybe even get Morrison on the 4th line and put Mayers on the wing

ridiculous thing about phoenix being up in this series is that they've yet to really do anything.

every game has gone to ot

phoenix has been successful on the powerplay- sometimes following dubious penalties

mike smith hasn't been lights out... he's looked very human

torres doesn't factor into any of that. maybe give him some credit for forechecking and exposing leddy and oduya, but everyone is capable of that.

Hossa is clearly the most talented out of the 3 players that are3 out, but I think a pretty solid argument could be made that Torres has been playing the best of the 3 so far. Losing Hossa is still a huge loss sine he is the most skilled and requires accounting for on defense. His loss means more focus can be shifted to Toews, Kane and Sharp.
