They deserve it. Their bats are alive all though the order. Their guys are playing smart small ball. The Cubs can't hit and haven't won authying in 700 years. If the Cubs lose this series, no one will remember or care about a 103 win season.

But they haven't lost the series, dumbass.

Every giant hitter is absoluty on every pitch....no weak swings, none are being put away, 5 straight lefties and they allare hammering the ball; vs lhp.

We're doomed as we just dumb luck into some bottom of the order hitter hitting a home run (usually solo)

I was mocked 3 days ago for being worried up 2-0 and asking what 84-89-98-03-07-08-15 all had in common..... we lost at least 3 in a row every time (a combined 22 straight losses to end those series and feared the giants has us set up perfectly.

Unless things drastically change these last 4 innings (and even if we do score i have no confidence in anybody shutting them down the following inning) this is 2003 or 84 all over again and game 5 is just a formality and 3 hours of torture for cub fans at wrigley.

You too, shut the **** up. This season has nothing to do with any of those seasons. It's annoying as piss that people constantly try to compare this team to others from over a decade ago. Right now, they're getting beat on the road against a very good team.

Its as if Epstein is playing Hayward to.justify his signing. Pure ego move

No, I am not happy about it.

I'm just not a pathetic loser that would say the series is over, call them all garbage, say they're useless, etc.
You are.
When an entire team that is favored and has home field throughout the playoff can't hit the entire series, that is in fact garbage.

I know you don't understand the game enough to have noticed earlier that the Giants held a man at 3rd who easily scores on most RF's. Those things matter. See, stopping an opponent's run is as good as driving one in. But most can't get that concept.
