-Best trade bait is Schwarber. But they need a 2nd power LH bat more.

-The big issue will be losing Fowler. A note was made about Zo tiring. Well as a lead off you are looking at over 600 AB's per. That becomes very problematic.

-Add to it there is no lead off in the wings like Zo was for Fowler.

-I've thought this stuff over for a while and they should resign Fowler and then use Almora as a 4th OF.

-I agree with Jake and Soler for a TOR with control.

What I found interesting is when Baez led off for us a couple games. Maddon seemed to like it. He said he has to calm down his adrenaline sometimes but he likes him there. Not saying Baez would be there but Maddon talked it up. I think he likes the convo of power and speed. Baez is great at getting out of the box. He showed it the other night with the Crawford errror. Maddon is thinking 7 steps ahead of us. He may not be a big oba but he is followed by monsters at it. We will see

Occasionally hitting Baez leadoff to calm his aggression down is not a bad idea once in a while. Having Bryant and Rizzo routinely come up to bat with no one on is.

I get it. I'm just saying what Maddon liked.

Check the wOBA rankings. That stat seems to be the best single stat out there to measure a player's hitting value.

http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.as...m=17&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=15,d

It has Baez at .316 with Russell.

From fan graphs:

How good is good? A Fangraphs guide to wOBA lists .290 as awful, .300 as poor, .310 as below average, .320 as average, .340 as above average, .370 as great and .400 as excellent.

Contreras ran a .367. He has stud written all over him. Baez has some holes in his game still.

I keep on saying that his BB% is killing him and wOBA backs it up.
