This one falls on Woody. Aaaaaand we're back to under .500!

Fail......... How about scoring runs of the starter pulling a quality start.

Casey McH dominated, he hit a great pitch.

Well, we scored 5 runs for the pitcher that did not get a quality start, 5 runs should be enough...

What an awful loss. The Cubs bullpen is so inconsistent

Can you read? one of the strongest. Castro isnt the strogest part of the team pitching is.

The bullpen isn't a strong point.

The starting pitching is good until you get to 4 and 5.

I'd say Castro our strongest point. Marmol is the 2nd best.

Blame Wood all you want........ he was the only chance at winning the game the Cubs had as well.

Numbers are useful, but they're only part of the game. Relying solely on numbers takes the soul and feeling away from baseball.

And for my money Harold Reynolds is one of the better analysts out there precisely because he doesn't bow down to sabermetrics.

You are right they arent the entire game, and anyone telling you otherwise is a moron. There is a reason why I think Soto will struggled this year and it has nothing to do with stats it has to do with conditioning and not getting enough days off. Numbers just make the game more enjoyable to someone like me. It adds to the game, it defines the game, it makes sense of the game.

Also for my money Harold Reynolds is one dumb mother ******. He speaks very well but he doesn't know one thing about analyzing baseball.
