LA will struggle big time with Lester and it will be interesting if Rob Zastryzny is on the roster for another lefty against a team that can't hit lefties. Can't wait for this game.

Montgomery could play a big role also. He did an amazing job the other night on the road.....all things considered.

Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if internally they've considered Montgomery for a start but in the end decide against it. Best not to get too cute.

Game One will be really, really tough on LA. They are facing the dominate Lester, who is tough against anybody -- let alone teams that can't hit lefties. And at some point after he's finished, they can enjoy The Big Tornado -- Aroldis Chapamn. For a team that struggles against lefties, imagine them facing a lefty who throws 103mph.

LA's staff and bullpen are gassed. Jensen threw 51 pitches last night. He was toast by the end. If we can get to Maeda and start working on their bullpen, it will go along way as the series progresses.

With three days off in a row, you feel there's a need for another pitcher just in case something drastic happens like game 3 of the Giants series and you're down a man in the bullpen. If it was me, I'd go Zastryzny for LaStella. Seeing as the Dodgers are going to start a lefty (Kershaw, Maeda, Urias, Hill) in every game, you're lineup could look like this

Fowler - CF
Bryant - RF
Rizzo - 1B
Zobrist - 2B
Soler - LF
Russell - SS
Baez - 3B
Ross/Contreras/Montero - C

You're obviously going to look at Heyward as a defensive replacement for Soler.

Maeda is RH..

Soler probably starts against Kershaw but I can see Heyward starting against Hill and Urias if he starts game 4..

If it was me, I'd go Zastryzny for LaStella. Seeing as the Dodgers are going to start a lefty (Kershaw, Maeda, Urias, Hill) in every game and they throw a few lefties out of the pen, I fail to see the times you're going to go LaStella if you have Coghlan and Montero sitting there too.

Maeda is not a lefty.

I can see them playing the defend home court game with Kershaw game 3 and Hill game 4. At that point Maeda closes out Dodger stadium.

Cubs will go Lester and Hendricks and the odds are they win 2. So in that view I'm looking to sweep at home and push it back to Wriggley up 3-2 and hope to take 1 of the two.

So in this view I would go Maeda game 1. Game 2 most likely Urias. 3-5 Kershaw, Hill and Maeda. Then 6-7 you are sitting with Urias and Kershaw to close game 7.

That is the way I would play it if I'm Roberts.
