Meh, I don't think they'll lose fans so much as revenue. I for one would not have bought tickets this year if they hadn't been super cheap on StubHub, through my school for free, or against the Yankees at face value.

STL seems to find guys that seem at end of rope and get 1 or 2 more really productive years out of them. Cubs seem to get old players that just come to retire

If Cubs had a 3 hole hitter this year they prolly would be in 1st place. Put a Fielder or Pujols in this lineup and how guys in scoring position all the damn time they would knock them in. Its a joke that Castro and Barney are 2nd on team for RBI's

i have feeling if he does well next 2 starts he will be in rotation. They will put Cashner in bullpen to have dominating bullpen. Then can use excuse that they want to protect Cashner arm
