Comparing two average players on two completely different styles of teams isn't the greatest comparison of all time. You could easily make the argument that both are overpaid.

I agree completely... and a bit more. Kane played like a prissy for the majority of the year. He should take some notes on effort from Frolik... he starts playing more on the edge and comparisons can be made to Toews. Until Kane pulls his head out of his vagina, he is no where near the level of Toews or Hossa.

Kane's a young point per game player and easily one of the top play makers in the league. He's a proven playoff performer.

How about instead of comparing him and his salary to Toews (ever think Toews might be underpaid?), look around the league and find a winger you'd rather have than Kane, all things considered. Zetterberg with his ridiculously long contract? Semin?

Post a list of wingers that are so much better and so much more affordable that you feel the need to shit on Kane while posting on a Chicago Blackhawks forum.
