Shitty team? They have a winning record you donkey.

Nice joke, you're so clever.

Not quite as big of a fail as when your mom decided to produce an inbred like you

It was done before the game even started.

Umm I can ask them to win. Or they can be like the Avs and just lay face down on the ice with their asses collectively raised in the air for a pounding.

2-1 stars, moron. Enjoy the offseason, you delusional idiot.

Idiot :kick:

well thats it, good season

I just want our friend to be on the front page. #fail

Out of curiousity - were any of those guys actually available to the Hawks as UFA's?

If not - I am failing to see the relevance.

You obviously didn't read his post. He asked me to find some better values then Kane at wing. Those are all better values and I just did 10 minutes of research. I'm sure there are another 10 players out there at better value.

Oh ok - after reading Bobferg - yeah well context is everything... going back to sleep -will post more when/if the season is over.

But yeah- losing out based upon the second tie-breaker -if it happens.

I didn't have to read it. Better value in relation to what? Ok in relation to the guy playing RW on the Hawks ... ok, fine ... presumes those players stats would translate over to the same if on the Hawks.

Frankly -that hypothetical is something that can't be qualified or quantified - end of story - no need to read that person's post further.

But then again, that may be being a little too analytical for everyone.

I can completely agree with that statement. Which is another reason why comparing defensemen on completely opposite teams is silly.

Nice play by Bouchard to block a pass that would have sprung Langenbrunner on a SH break.

Patrick Kane - $6.3 million - 27 goals. 72 points.

Corey Perry - $5.38 million this and next year. $4.88 in 2012/13 - 50 goals. 98 points. Gigantic value.

Jerome Iginla - $7 million - 43 goals, 86 points. Better value.

Bobby Ryan - $5.1 million - 34 goals, 71 points. Better value.

Michael Grabner - $765,00 - 34 goals, 52 points (on a SHIT team) Rookie, but he won't be paid $6.3 million after this year. Gigantic value.

Martin St. Louis - $4 million - 31 goals, 99 points - Giagantic value.

Teemu Selanne - $4.5 million - 31 goals 80 points - Better Value

Claude Girioux - $821,666 - 25 goals 76 points - Gigantic Value

*yawn* Quit pretending like you own this forum or that your opinion is the end all. Get off your high-horse.

Perry is great. Bobby Ryan and Claude Girioux are very very good. Good names. That's 3 guys.

Iginla? 7 Mil, 33 years old? Coin toss with neither side being wrong. He brings a lot to the game that Kane doesn't have, but he's older and not as talented a playmaker.

St Louis and Selanne? Great players, but a 35 and a 40 year old? Does the concept of Kane being 22 not make sense to you? Would you trade Keith for Lidstrom today? Wait, don't answer that.

Grabner...a rookie. Kane had 72 points as a rookie. I understand that you're in love with goal totals, but come on.

So you named 3 rock solid choices, 1 coin flip/more expensive older guy, 2 geezers and a rookie. I'm giving you a strong 4 right answers.

That's 4 wingers that could be said are better (all things considered... skill, age, salary etc) than Patrick Kane.

4

Yeah, let's keep bitching about a top 5, 22 year old Stanley Cup winner :slap:
